Thank you for bringing authentic and delicious western pastry and food to rural Semenyih. We’ve been having hard times looking for delicious authentic western food around this area.
Me and my husband has been a big fan of their sourdough bread since they opened. They make the best sour dough.
Yesterday I went there to try out their mushroom pesto pasta. It was rich with mushrooms, and the pesto was really good. The garlic bread top was crispy and delicious. It was definitely worth paying for. So good.
Special shout-out to uncle who is so friendly and hardworking in supporting his son’s business.
First experience at Opera Boulangerie in Ecohill Walk, Semenyih. Came across this French-themed cafe online upon searching for light evening delicacy.
The pastries are wonderfully puffy, and they make for a perfect pairing with their rich hot chocolate.
Intrigued to try their pastas next, thanks to the positive online reviews. Will definitely visit again.

The perfect brunch.
If you wonder how authentic French Pastries taste like, Opera is the place to find them.
The service is better than French cafe in Paris, definitely.
Pastries are as tasty as the best ones you could find in Paris but their prices are very reasonable! Best value for money I ever found for a bakery! And best Pastries in Malaysia so far.
Will be back to try their lunch menu soon!
So lets start with what i ordered.
1. Cinnamon roll
2. Plain croissant
3. Hot chocolate
4. Latte
Their cinnamon roll i would say top notch, not over baked, not super sweet, taste of cinnamon is on point. I will consider the best so far in Semenyih after i tried few bakery shop around here.
Plain croissant dipping with my hot choc, consider still good. Croissant can be improved from good to the best.
Price point for this 2 pastries i will consider reasonable (kinda cheap compared to others).
Latte, hmm... as coffee lover i cant feel the sensation of the full bodied (i will consider not strong enuf, maybe suitable for those who dont drink coffee every hours 😅)
Hot choc, i liked it! I can taste the pure chocalate! Yummeh!
Always came for the pastry. This round dine in to try out the food. My girl enjoyed the sandwich. Full of flavour, crispy sourdough, yummy karaage. Portion just nice. Think their drink is dark chocolate flavour, bit bitter i/o sweet taste. Cappuccino is plain, means need add sugar syrup to own preference 👍
The place so convenient. So many choices of pastries. They also got hot food. The pastries freshly baked.
The drink also nice. The beans they use for coffee, so sedapppp 😋.
In love with their caramel macadamia danish and mushroom something (I forgot the name) 😅.
A European-inspired boulangerie/patisserie cum cafe located within the new gastro-entertainment hub, Setia Eco Hill Mall. Entrance was fumed with tentalising smell of fresh pastry/sourdough and Italian herbs. They serve beautiful selection of savoury and sweet pastries including pastas and espresso based drinks. Service was friendly and attentive. Space was beautifully decorated with wooden furnitures and bread-like ornaments. Would love to see the bakery expand itself, perhaps adding sourdough pizza in the menu would be delightful!
The wonderful smell of freshly baked pastry fills the air when you enter the shop. As I was in a rush, I couldn't sit down and enjoy a meal there but I ordered the Mushroom quiche and Mango Tart to takeaway. Both were absolutely delicious, esp the mushroom quiche. The Mango Tart was refreshing too. The price is on the higher side compared to other conventional bakeries but so worth it. I will be back to try other pastries and food.
