Burger was good, could use a lil sweet element but some tomato sauce does the trick, sorry no better pictures of it. Pickles were perfect, extremely flavourful. The cheesy fries are what I’m here to talk about: do not get ‘em. Sauce is essentially a VERY floury (almost not made correctly) mornay, which imo is also not the choice for an already starch heavy dish. Fries themselves seemed good, but impossible to truly tell as they were drenched :(

Loved my burger I had here. The space was extremely busy and due to them having a small kitchen it took a little while for the burger to arrive but the food is rock solid and well worth the wait. One of the best burgers I've had in years! Juicy, full of flavour, delicious bun and at such a reasonable price. And the chips were delicious too! Will definitely be ordering here again. Veggie burger is amazing. Prices great. Atmosphere brilliant. Wine great. Just would be the cherry on top if there was a decent craft beer or something other than a lager on tap. I popped into only fools to get a quick burger and we also grabbed a couple of sides. I grabbed the vegan burger, the patty tasted surprisingly meaty and was quite thick. The burger had just some mayo and red onion and could have benefitted from more garnish but was good overall. When it came to the sides rhe bowl of wedges were great, they were light and crisp and it was a generous portion size. But the chilli pops was the show stopper. They were sliced smoked jalapeños filled with cheese served with a flavourful tomato sauce. The smokiness of the jalapeños was incredible and is a dish which I absolutely loved. Food was not on par with expectations. Stale bun, the homemade cheese sauce for the fries was pretty average (rather have the dip separate from the fries) and the chilli poppers really disappointing. Amazing burgers, cooked perfectly. The “build your own burger” is a great idea and the staff were so friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. They had great suggestions too, and the beer and wine was delicious. Onion rings could do with a bit more batter to make them better though. Would definitely recommend.
