My wife and I love coming to the Onion Roll for brunch! It was such a nice surprise finding this spot in recent years and we've enjoyed each visit subsequently. I always love the spaceman size Mr. Big or North Ave Nosh. Maria and Rafael are stars as well and offer wonderful, friendly service! This is an easy recommendation for anyone in the Austin or Oak Park areas!

The quaintist gem with the softest bagels ever....my sesame bagel and lox was scrumptious....thank you for a great experience. If near of far...stop by! The Onion Roll has a taste of everything for anyone - breakfast or lunch or just a caffeine fix....super cute decor is so welcoming!

We ordered a few different sandwiches, Soup and sides. Loved the potato salad. Potato Lockey were great. Chocolate cookies really good. Other cookies in the picture had minimal flavor. Would definitely go here again. Their soup with the kreplach was delicious.

I had a serious hankering for a proper pastrami sandwich today, so we headed over to The Onion Roll. This little place offers a lot of dining options as you can order to go from the deli counter, or dine in at the cafe style dining room (which also has a coffee bar). The sandwich came piled high with hot pastrami on soft rye bread with sides of coleslaw, pickle spear, and fries. The meat came juicy and with all the right flavor, but I couldn't help adding a little mustard. The only mark against the place, really, is the pricing. Everything here is quite expensive (even the daily specials).
I just had their corn beef sandwich and potato salad that my buddy got for me. I am very very impressed. The corn beef was delicious, generous amount of meat. Potato salad was good as well. I’m getting my mother and wife one. Good job Onion Roll

Hands down the best bagel in Oak Park. The Onion Roll is our favorite local breakfast spot. Everything on their menu is delicious, they have great coffee, and the staff as always very pleasant and attentive. As a bonus, their dining room is so cute and charming. Their open face Ruben sandwich is so good, I have daydreams about it. I would recommend the Onion Roll to anyone.
