Gods bless our waiter, who was clearly plating and serving dishes, but the service is incredibly slow and the food is bland at best. It's clear there's a single person working in the kitchen, maybe two wait staff, and a bartender. The chips and salsa took about ten minutes to get, salsa had a decent bite, chips had no flavor. My strawberry lemonade was pretty good, which surprised me. Our dinner took half an hour to arrive. I ordered the "portobello and vegetable fajitas" which were completely unseasoned. Might have had salt. 20$ for a single mushroom sliced up with half a bell pepper and some onion is a gross overcharge. One of my partners ordered steak fajitas, which apparently the meat was decent and that's the best he could say. He says we'd maybe come back if every other Mexican place in the area closed. This includes Chili's, which is a hell of an insult from him. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
I just ordered takeout food from this restaurant for the first time. I have to say it was very disappointing. The enchiladas were not cooked all the way; we could tell because the cheese on top was not melted, and the tortillas were still hard. Our guacamole appetizer was also no longer fresh. It was all brown. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 1

Tiffany & Abraham took great care of us for happy hour last week. Their service was friendly and prompt providing tasty apps and drinks to our crew. We had strawberry margaritas and Sangria Swirls which were delicious! Tom the GM (a hospitality expert!) answered all our questions about booking an industry networking event there. We're excited to promote the Sangria Swirl as our February '24 event signature beverage. We used to be big fans of On the Border but normally ate at the Denver location. Their fajitas used to be the best. This experience was far from good. The service was extremely slow. I purchased their $14 margarita after asking the waiter if it was really worth it. It took forever to get our drinks and they was mediocre at best, barely tasting any tequila, we chose not to order a second round. We ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas for two and a large side of guacamole and extra cheese. When the order came we were told they did not have guacamole and we were not given extra cheese. The steak was good but the shrimp tasted old and almost had a freezer burn flavor. It was really disappointing as we drove a fair distance out of our way. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
I don’t understand how this strange behavior was accepted. I took my friend who is still recovering from surgery to dinner this evening. We requested a booth due to her recovery. As we approached the bar area we spot an empty booth containing 2 nearly empty drinks and some messy chip crumbs left behind. I asked the host if we could wait for that last booth to be cleared. Suddenly a women comes out of nowhere and yells “I’m still HERE!” Just not “here” …what does that even mean? This extremely rude guest was literally taking up TWO different tables and on opposite sides to the restaurant. I’m shocked your waitstaff allowed this. Very disappointing sitting at a high top table watching my uncomfortable friend stare at that empty booth the rest of our experience. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

The bad reviews are correct. The food took forever. When we got our food after over an hour it was cold and gross. The fajitas had 0 seasoning were not even sizzling or anything like a fajita should and was cold to the touch. We expressed concern and were told by the server that “it’s hot” even though it clearly wasn’t. We just sucked it up and ate it because we had been waiting SO long at that point and were starving which was a big mistake because we are pretty sure we will get food poisoning from the undercooked shrimp. When we expressed it wasn’t good the server just said “why did you eat it then” and that was all. A joke. we did not want anything free just some acknowledgment of the awful food and were being honest when she asked how it was. She said she would get a manager, and never did and brought us an incorrect check. Don’t come here. Not worth it. You’ll get better food and a nicer staff at McDonald’s lol. The food is fairly authentic with a twist to certain dishes. Portions are decent, and the chips and salsa are free, but the kids meals were fairly basic. I will say that the food pricing is a little steep, but it’s not surprising given their selection and in comparison to Chilis; they do have a great selection of alcoholic beverages though. If you’re looking for Mexican food that is a little more mainstream then this is your place.
Nice place, smells like the food is going to be amazing, however that is not the case. We were seated promptly, and then sat there for 15 minutes before we saw our waitress while other people that came after us were tended to. She never apologized, she only gave excuses! Our queso was mediocre warm, chips were cold, and we waited another 10 minutes to receive our drinks!! Everything we ordered (and we only ordered a dessert and nachos) took 30 minutes to come to our table. The only thing she brought us pretty quick were napkins that had to be asked three times for, and the BILL! She came by 3 times to pick it up in a matter of about 5-10 min. I will never go back there again, and if you like good service you won't either lol! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

Be careful as a vegetarian here as many of the items you think would be vegetarian actually have a meat broth. Sometimes the staff will give inaccurate answers to questions about which dishes are vegetarian, it is always best to ask for the vegetarian menu to check for yourself. With that being said they do have a vegetarian menu if you ask for it and many of their dishes can be made vegetarian friendly. Only one of the two rice and only one of the two Bean options are vegetarian, oftentimes when I order online for pickup I have to wait while they remake it because even though I requested the vegetarian version of the dish they gave me the rice that has meat in it and will make me ill. Sit down service is definitely better at order accuracy than ordering online for pickup is. When I do go for sit down service the wait staff are usually attentive except for understandably on the nights when they are understaffed (which is most of the time but that's a corporate problem). The bottomless chips and salsa are always a favorite at my table. A lot of the vegetarian options are pricier than other restaurants that are more locally owned and operated, if your whole party is vegetarian I would recommend looking somewhere else. If you are one vegetarian in a group that enjoys non-vegetarian for this restaurant make sure to ask for the vegetarian menu since it is not clearly labeled on the regular menu.
