Usually the service here has been good and all the staff has been respectful. Unfortunately not this time. After my vegetarian parents asked for vegetarian options the staff became stand off-ish. We clarified a few times just to make sure the option did not have any meat as my parents are vegetarians by religion and in our country that upholds religious freedom we were hoping the staff would support our beliefs and customs. Additionally, we understand that our inherent accents can serve as a language barrier at times and wanted to be conscious of this in a gracious manner. Following this we asked for some more red salsa, as any customer does and would, and were met with extreme haste and disrespect. Following that the staff would not talk to us, did not ask how our food was, and did all but toss the salsa and recipient on our table. When I looked at how the staff acted with other customers, the staff was gracious and understanding of their requests (even when they asked for other things in addition to their meal as we had done). It’s unfortunate that people can be so rude to people who are different from the general populace. I had hoped that in 2024 we would have come to a place where people can be understanding and respectful of each other’s customs but this was not seen nor valued today. I have never been left to feel so low life and undervalued. How are we suppose to see each other as humans if we can’t even treat each other like humans. We are no different than anyone else at that restaurant. On the border - do better.

We went there as a group of friends, ordered drinks, and multiple appetizers. The food was very mediocre, a change from last time we were there. The drinks were decent. Alison, our waitress was extremely rude and impatient. She did not bring us the plates or the cutlery unless we asked her and her answer was that she only had 2 hands. We even asked her, if she was having a bad day and were met with the same rude and disrespectful answer. Was it too much to expect respectful behavior?? We expect better service from the wait staff. Please choose your staff with care.

Same place I frequented 15 years ago. It has not changed. Which would have been fine if the food quality and service were like they were 15 years ago. Service was slow. Food was overcooked, dried out and should have never been sent to the table.
