As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with friendly staff. Our waiter, John, was absolute perfection. Everything you could ask for in a waiter. Our food came super quickly and was amazing! We were celebrating our anniversary and received a note with all of the staff’s signatures congratulating us! We had an amazing time and will be back! Absolutely amazing. We were visiting from Buffalo and this was our first time here, and we want to go back just for the food here. The service was amazing. It was busy when we came in and it took a few moments for someone to come up to us but we didn’t mind at all and were waiting because we saw how busy everyone was. Out of nowhere the manager came up to us and offered us a free appetizer. We thought that was so nice and completely unnecessary but amazing that they saw our patience. The appetizer we got was the shrimp and it was the best appetizer I’ve ever had. I got the 22 oz bone in steak and my boyfriend got the lobster pasta and added the Caesar salad. And we were blown away. The steak was like butter, the lobster pasta had so many huge chunks of lobster and the pasta tasted fresh and was perfectly cooked. We told them we were celebrating our anniversary and it was also the week of my boyfriend’s birthday and at the end they brought out this delicious dessert with a sparkler on top. And the drinks were delicious also. When it was time for the bill they had comped a total of $30 off of our meal just because we waited 10 minutes. I appreciated their customer service so much and their attention to making sure the guests are taken care of. Everything was absolutely amazing, and we will be back!! First time there. It was busier than we thought it would be. We had the surf and turf. 8oz filet done perfectly. Lobster tail too. Kudos to Dalton in the kitchen. Atmosphere was really nice. Nothing like it here in town. Our Server, Lauren was great. Never missed a thing. She didn't rush us to order or to leave at the end of the night. We will certainly be back. Our anniversary dinner last night at Oliver’s Rooftop restaurant was amazing! Our prickly pear mock tail was so good! Never had a non alcoholic drink that good before. Then there was the appetizer; lobster deviled eggs 😱😱 yummm! So let me just tell you , I’m a lobster connoisseur. Never in my life have I had lobster that tasted THAT GOOD! WOW! Now the finale; dessert was sweet potato cheesecake 🤤🤤🤤 out of this world delicious! Once I took that first bite, all the notes hitting my taste buds. Our server was such an awesome person! Such great customer service. The staff also signed an anniversary card and gave it to us. Plus a big sparkly candle was light in my cheesecake. If you haven’t been to Oliver’s Rooftop restaurant in Erie, you are surely missing out on a 10 star dining experience! Went here for our 21st anniversary just because we were staying at the Hampton Bayfront and didn't want to drive anywhere. So glad we decided to give it a try. Food was awesome. Had the seafood bisque and lobster deviled eggs to start. So good. I had the seafood trio for a main dish and it was on point. My wife had chef Rick's lobster pasta and loved it. Our server Laura went above and beyond to make our day special and was very attentive even gave us a card signed by all the staff for our anniversary. Thank you for making our night memorable. . Would highly recommend Oliver's to anyone visiting erie. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chef Rick's Lobster Pasta

We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and had to wait to be seated due to a lack of menus. Well the food was good it certainly wasn't anything spectacular, it was also only warm not hot. The server didn't seem very attentive. She took our order then disappeared for long periods of time. A request for salt and pepper went ignored. The atmosphere was nice but I certainly didn't feel very special. Prices for food were a bit high and the portions were adequate. My husband and I finally had a chance to go to this restaurant. We are glad we made it! The service was good. Not exceptional, but good. We each had two different types of cocktails. They were delicious. Not weak and watered down. We had two appetizers (cauliflower and shrimp). Both our appetizers were tasty and a nice portion size. We both had fillet mignon and added a lobster tail. The lobster tail was cooked perfectly and was so sweet tasting. The fillets were tender, flavorful, and had a great texture. We will definitely go back. And, incase you are curious about Erie winters…here’s a photo 😂 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We had an amazing experience for the dinner. Their drinks are also good. The view is amazing. Wait time is a lot. We had to wait even though we had a reservation but it was nice of them to let us hang out a little bit extra. Food was really good and desserts were to the mark. Always ask for their specials. It was a pleasure to visit Oliver’s Rooftop restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a modern ambiance that made it feel like home. As we entered the restaurant, we were immediately welcomed by friendly staff who provided exceptional service throughout our meal. The menu offered an array of classic dishes; my walleye fish sandwich came served with fries and tasted incredibly fresh - definitely one of the best I have ever had! My wife's Caesar salad also hit the spot, with freshly grated parmesan cheese adding extra flavor. For dessert we indulged in their signature waffle sundae which was simply exquisite – generous portions topped off with chocolate drizzle, vanilla ice cream and fresh whipped cream - what more could you ask for? What set this place apart from other restaurants however is its spectacular views over Presque Isle Bay – absolutely breathtaking! All in all our experience at Oliver’s Rooftop restaurant was delightful. We would highly recommend visiting if you are looking for quality food combined with amazing views and great service!
