Ms. Alicia was hands down the best server I have ever had at Olive Garden or any restaurant for that matter. Food came out hot and fast. Cheese was flowing and so were the refills. I highly recommend the chocolate lasagna cake 10/10. The manager did not make an appearance, but I would say they are doing a great job considering all other servers looked like they actually wanted to be at work. Made for an enjoyable atmosphere. I have to start off by saying that Jared was by far the best waiter I’ve had at any Olive Garden! Attentive, funny, and accommodating! The food was hot and flavorful. The salad was on point! My best friend and I really enjoyed our visit and Jared was a great part of that experience! Olive Garden has a real Gem! Ordered the soup, salad and breadsticks deal, and 3 meals. The food was as good as always. The chicken gnocchi soup was very good. My server could have been around more often. We were consistently looking for him, the servers for the tables around us seemed like they were always checking on their tables. Food was okay, place was a little busy but we were seated right away. Our server didn't swing by too often though and if the bill wasn't available on the tablet I'm not sure when we would have gotten a check to wrap up. This particular Olive Garden was great. We were a part of 10 women celebrating a birthday . We were given our own private space with a waiter dedicated to us. He was very attentive and personable. Always have a good visit to this Olive Garden , the staff here are very good. The only thing we did not like was the new cannoli product they had. Flavorless and tasted like they were frozen and thawed. Our meals were good.decor is typical of most Olive Gardens which is homey. Follow up 9/26/23 Just had dinner in house, Joyce was our server at the Toms River Olive Garden location on Hooper Road. Joyce was a true professional as our server, she was spot with service, and importantly follow up on how we enjoyed our meal. She forgot NOTHING that we asked for and we asked for a lot for two people. We are for extra sauce, add on protein to our all you could eat pasta. We also told her at the beginning that we planned to take home half our meal, we ordered the $6.00 extra pasta of choice with extra sauce and meatballs and lately a piece of the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake. Joyce was FANTASTIC, she brought the to go containers, remembered the extra sauce, and when we were done she brought a bag with everything we asked for. It has been my experience that few servers remember half of what you say and you normally have to remind them or you go home with nothing that resembles what you asked for but you settle for it anyway. My husband and I frequent Olive Garden and he loves the spaghetti with meat sauce and my go to is usually the shrimp scampi, both are delicious with great flavor and never disappoint. Our server (forgot her name) was throughly attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. The Green Apple Moscato Sangria was very tasty as well. Do not hesitate get your next meal from them. The usual here. Salad is great & love the breadsticks. We ordered meals and drinks too, which were good and took 1/2 home because nice portion size. The only disappointment this time was the drink was really overpriced & very little alcohol, more like fruit juice, so we won’t be doing that again. Just stick to glass of wine.
