I had the best server. I told her I was having a difficult time cause my fiance was in the hospital and was very anxious but I needed to eat something quick well she went above and beyond to give me great service along with lending a sympathetic ear. She even got the management to give me a free dessert to bring to him at the hospital. She çheered me up in a difficult time. I so appreciated this. The food was really good. I got the eggplant Parmesan and was surprised at the large portion for lunch! Had early dinner last Friday. Worst service ever. Was told it was employee appreciation so our server had to watch awards being given out instead of taking care of tables. The kitchen staff were not getting food orders out for the same reason. Food came out very sporadic and it was obvious that our server did not want to be bothered doing her job. I've actually never been to Olive Garden until my trip to visit my parents in Harrisburg, PA. What an amazing experience. The food was absolutely fantastic. I've never had a better cup of coffee, and I'm a coffee junkie. But the best part of dining was the service. I loved it so much that I took my mom back a week later. I don’t typically review places but this visit made me want to write something. The older gentleman that works here(I think he’s a host). His name is Jeff, he is honestly amazing. When he sat us he was one of the most cheerful person I saw in a while. Our waitress was Nancy and she was just as amazing. We didn’t have to wait for anything, she was very nice, attentive and frequently checked on us. This has been one of the best visits to any restaurant based on service alone that I have been to. Olive Garden serves Italian food in an American way. Think: tortellini, spagetti, ravioli but big sizes! (I’d even say the size is enough for 2 meals). I like that they give a soup before the main dish. I liked the chicken soup. But the pastas looked overloaded with cheese so I went with the grilled salmon. Me and my daughter were shopping all day and she wanted Olive Garden. Even though it was late around 9, there was a 20 minute wait, so we ran over to Target. When we received a text that our table was ready we ran back across the road. Our waiter was very nice and our food came out pretty promptly. We couldn't decide if we should share one quick set of ravs or if we should get our own, we ended up getting our own. I have eaten it three times now. There were at least 8 raviolis on each plate.
