When it comes to Olive Gardens, this one lives up to the hype. I attended a group get together where the breadsticks were perfectly toasted and served as the perfect starter for all of us to break bread. Comradery filled the air not only from all the guests but also the wait staff. Atmosphere was great and the lighting was phenomenal, not to bright but not to dim. Applebee's, eat your heart out. This is a really great Olive garden location. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you out, the food was delicious and prepared well, and the dining area is well kept and clean. One of the staff members mentioned that this is the largest olive garden in California. I tried the eggplant parmesan and it was delicious, the eggplant is prepared with care and almost melts in your mouth. As always the breadsticks are delicious and the salad was great too! Fast casual chain located in the Manhattan Beach Mall area. Came here with a group of 9 and we had a semi-private room. We had put our name down on a Saturday evening and it took about an hour to get a table. There is plenty of parking available. Indoor dining only. Credit cards accepted. They have the ongoing supply of breadsticks and salad/minestrone soup. They do have other soup options (including a cream based option - a Tuscan soup or other). Our waiter was nice and the staff was helpful in checking in for water refills. I had a hearty portion for my chicken and shrimp pasta - there was plenty for two servings of leftovers the following day. We tried the brownie lasagna, strawberry shortcake, and tiramisu since three people in our group were celebrating birthdays, and they were kind enough to put little candles and sing “Happy Birthday” alongside us.
