Spending a quick overnight in Knysna and walked up from accommodation for dinner. Isaac our waiter was fabulous, service was quick, efficient and steak egg and chips delicious. We sat outside and the area was 40% full mid week. The restaurant has an interesting decoration and feel and there were many groups of friends, foreign visitors and youngsters as patrons. Well done on a comprehensive menue and on the cocktails which seem very popular with 2 tables indoors. Definitely a spot you have to visit! Food options are great [Ribs recommended, of course!] and it's within walking distance of the waterfront. Liking the atmosphere comes down to personal preference of course, and there's a bar inside if that's your vibe. Service was satisfactory, think because it was super busy it was a bit all over the place. But overall, if I were to be in the area again, I'm definitely going back! Nice atmosphere, nice interior, the food was tasteless, the meat was overcooked. We went on a rainy day, were seated at the entrance, asked to close the door, were told "the manager is not allowing, as the people will think we're closed", so we were cold. The service was cold as well, slow and not so welcoming. Meal type Lunch Price per person R 200–250 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Nice place, first time here, not too much of a good impression… as cutlery was dirty and salad leaves on burger had sand on. Overall not bad, we enjoyed our drinks. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person R 150–200
Great Rib burgers! They have Castle Beer and a few others on Tap. We went on a Sunday evening and it wasn't to busy so service was fast and friendly. The toilets are clean. They played a chilled playlist. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Great restaurant and pub. It reminds me of the English pubs in London. We had a great time. The food was delicious, and the Brandy special was an added bonus 😋 ! Went for the ribs, and they were a generous portion and delicious. Note: check the load shedding times beforehand as that menu has less options available. Also, be aware that smoking is allowed in their outside dining area so choose your location according to your preference.
