Very loud (It’s an Irish pub), the hostess wasn’t very friendly (she was too busy visiting and we interrupted her conversation), but the service staff was great. The food was good.

Really enjoyed this place and had to try it out since it was fairly new to Mankato. Lots of great options and the atmosphere is fantastic. The service was a little slow and it wasn't too busy, but well worth the wait. I got the blackened Mahi Mahi with roasted red pepper risotto and absolutely enjoyed the dish. My wife got salmon and it cooked very well. Our server was very nice and made sure we were doing ok even though the food was taking a little longer than expected.

First experience, the food and service was great. Atmosphere and food selections are what I expect at an Irish Pub. Unfortunately my glass had lipstick on it and when they brought me a new glass fresh from the dishwasher, it was cloudy, hot a dripping with water which was a bit off putting.
Second experience, was late afternoon/ early evening. Service was much slower. Everyone's food was good, but my husband was very disappointed in his cheese steak sandwich. The meat was very dry and very oily and there wasn't any cheese on it.

This was our first visit to Olde Brick House, and we loved it! We visited after a recommendation from family. We were seated right away (around 1:00 on a Saturday). They had wait staff that were in training, but they were still attentive, efficient, and friendly.
I ordered the bangers and mashed. It came with 2 sausages, mashed potatoes, cabbage, and peas, all with a deliciously rich gravy. It was great! My husband ordered the Guinness fish and chips, which was perfectly cooked.
It was a wonderful trip from start to finish, and we will return!
