First time trying out this restaurant. We were able to book quite easily online and it helped that it was a Wednesday night. It was really busy when we were there so we felt like the food should be good. We ordered a few cocktails which were really good. Ordered the Fried Banana Chips and Onion Straws app. It was definitely unique to this place and really tasty. The entrees we got were cooked really well and seasoned the way we liked. One of my coworkers told me about Old Stone Steakhouse because I was saying I wanted to try something different as far as restaurants. The history behind the Old Stone Steakhouse was really nice! During the time we went which was around 4pm it was slow so we didn’t have time I wait for a table and the server was very nice and attentive. Everything we ordered was fresh and perfectly cooked! I will my favorite was the baked mac and cheese. We ordered… Appetizers - Crab cakes w/ side salad - Cocktail Shrimp - Pork Belly w/ grits Entree - 14oz Ribeye w/ mashed potatoes and gravy - Salmon Loaded Trout & Succotash a side of mashed potatoes and gravy - Sharable side was the baked Mac and Cheese Drinks - Lemon Drop martini - Peach martini Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

4.2 stars, would recommend. This place gets very busy, so reservations are usually required. Our reservation-to-order time was approximately 25 minutes, so expect a longer wait before placing your order past your reservation time. (An average RtO time should be within 10 minutes for restaurants of similar menus and size.) Wait staff were courteous, the environment was loud, but typical for a steakhouse. Bathrooms were unusually dim and hadn't been recently serviced. In terms of food, I'd recommend the Jailhouse Chicken as one of their better signature house entrees with a great flavor profile aided by their spice jelly. I can not say for certain, but most of the dishes I tried tended to have scents of truffle oil throughout. It's not a bad thing, but truffle oil is not something I was expecting, and the taste can be strong. Their sirloin steak had something left to be desired, perhaps a better sear would have given it a truer crisp while my medium rare was more on the rare end. The Parmessan Pan Rolls would be an appetizer I would avoid next time as they were overly salty, and the melted parmessan had a strong flavor that didn't sit well with me. I had a great dining experience at Old Stone Steakhouse. The staff were warm and friendly, the environment was cozy, and the food was the star of the show. I had a filet mignon medium rare and it was incredible! Cooked beautifully, with butter melting on top for extra rich fatty goodness. This place is always extremely busy when we walk by so we decided to try it. We got there a little after 7 o’clock on a Friday night and we were still able to be seated at two different tables, but we decided to share the bar which seats 4 people total. The bartender was super friendly and I’ve never finished a burger all at once before! I always end up taking it home, but the burger was cooked exactly to order and it was the best tasting burger I’ve had in Belmont. My husband wholeheartedly agreed as his Texas burger had a unique Smokey flavor and the bbq sauce was also unique but delicious. We will definitely be back to try other things, but it’s nice knowing you can have last minute dinner plans, get a $16 burger with salad, in a nice restaurant with a great atmosphere, and still feel like you had a great dinner and you weren’t forced to get a $38 steak because that’s the only thing on the menu at a steakhouse. There are MANY other types of food options on the menu. It was just great to test the waters first with something as simple as a burger to see if, no matter the price point, the quality and taste of the food. Glad we decided to try this place. Our waitress was awesome, attentive, kind, knew all the ins and outs of the menu. Other staff were great too when I spilled water during dessert and they saved us all from getting wet and losing our desserts. Everything from appetizers to desserts was delicious! Our group had several different steaks ordered, all cooked to perfection. Shrimp was delicious too! Will be back on our next stop in town, this was a great atmosphere and neat building. First time here. Recommended while on a business trip. Brett was an amazing server! Our food came out hot and wine was cold! We sat outside and had no issue in service. Super cute place. 11/2022 We had such a great experience! Our waitress was upbeat and friendly even though they were quite busy. We started with the crab and shrimp dip. I wasn't too much of a fan but the rest of the table loved it. Now, my Jailhouse Chicken was absolutely delicious. The pimento cheese was cheddary and creamy. The sweet jam paired nicely with it. The brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection. Easily one of my favorite American dishes. The rest of the table enjoyed their orders. They recommended the burgers. My husband and I secured a 5:30 reservation on their covered and heated patio. I will admit that I was a bit concerned since it’s December but was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. We started with their shrimp and crab dip which did not disappoint. Plenty of pita points were provided to scoop up the slightly spicy dip. Our meals were accompanied with salad. I got their house wedge and my husband upgraded to their classic wedge. The portions were huge!!! For our mains, I ordered the beef tips and my husband the short rib pasta. Outstanding! Good morning, I was wanting to write in about an experience we had last night. I booked a reservation on 11/16 for a work Christmas party to take place at your establishment for 6 people on 12/12/2023. When we arrived we were first placed in a booth that barely fit 4 of us, in no possible way would all 6 of us have fit in that booth. I admit we are not small individuals but still even if we were smaller a booth would not have accommodated us. We asked if we could move to a place that would fit us and we were immediately told no by the host so we asked the server if we could sit anywhere else, we were told we could sit outside but it was very cold even with heating lamps so we did not want to do that option. After that we were placed at the community bar table which did fit all of us just was a little crowded with the bar behind us of course. Once we moved we had the bartender as our server who tried to help us but she couldn’t put much focus to our group since she had several other people at the bar. It took quite a while to get our food and when we did get it the sirloins that me and 2 others got tasted completely awful and one of my coworkers got the wrong side, we never were asked about the food or checked on so never really had much of an opportunity to speak up about it. We all took our food in boxes home though barely touched. I’m a little disappointed because we were told how amazing this place was, this was our first time there and we always try to keep our parties around the Belmont area as that is the middle spot for most our employees to go and we were very excited to try out your establishment only met with disappointment. We put all of our food on one tab and the alcohol was separated between those of us who drank, in total we spent over $300 at your establishment and got not great service and not good food. The seating was the thing that threw the evening off, I booked way ahead and the overall experience wasn’t what I was thinking when booking a high end steak establishment. I am just writing this to make sure it gets to the right person, I also attached a copy of the receipt from last night so you can see in food alone we spent a significant amount of money.
