We’ve gone a few times for breakfast and lunch on the weekends. Great service and always hot, great food. I had the BLTAE sandwich with fries this time. Their fries are hand cut and cooked to perfection. Hamburgers are so good. Chips and queso are really good for not being a Mexican restaurant. Out place to go in Sherman on the weekends! Came in for lunch during our break. It was not busy so we got service right away. Our waitress was great! Very nice and polite! That plus the drinks being cold was where the good parts ended. We started with jalapeño poppers and fried pickles. Poppers were ok but the pickles were dry as a bone and had no flavor. One plate was the cheeseburger and it had absolutely no flavor at all. One had the Texas cheesesteak and wasn’t too bad. Another had the boneless wings, and they were about as tough as jerky. One had regular wings and they were ok. All had regular fries and they were sad and soggy. Honestly don’t know how it’s highly rated, but we definitely got tricked. We decided to try something different while we were downtown on business. We ordered a few items on their menu and enjoyed the environment very much. The food is basic bar food. All of the items that we ordered were heavy on chili powder and cumin to our taste. Even the pinto beans had a lot of black pepper flavor. The quesadillas were exceptional and we enjoyed those very much. There are a lot of people I'm sure that enjoy spicy and peppery foods, we just ate not one. We will definitely be back and try a few other different items. The postings on the wall in the history of this building are historic and worth reading about it. Great food and even a few options for vegans and vegetarians. They forgot a few things, the garlic fries are too moist but the sweet potato fries are legendary. Good drinks too. We loved the atmosphere and we had friendly service. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Sweet Potato Fries
Had a Delicious burger, perfect sweet potato fries with a yummy maple mayo on the side, and got the giant pretzel to go. Server was super friendly and the prices were good. Burger was big enough to split. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
My husband and I always sit at the bar. Today the service was horrible. The bartenders we normally have no longer work here, i guess. We waited 7 mins to get greeted. He took our drink/food order. Delivered it. Then didnt really check on us again. We asked for the tab and he dropped the check. Our card sat there until we had to grab another bartender/server. Tori. She was awesome. My husband actually gave her a few bucks. We still tipped 20% to the bartender. It was just not really a good experience because of the service. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

If you look even remotely close to 21, don’t expect any kind of service unless you open a tab. Went to have a beer during the Christmas parade this year and an older gentleman behind the bar saw me and my lady sit down at the corner of the bar, couple seconds later a group of four (clearly over 35) comes to sit right next to us. the group placed their order first, fine no problem. They then get served the drinks, fine no problem. at this point I’ve been there for maybe 10 minutes still haven’t been spoken to, granted it was busy that day so I wasnt going to knock him for it. he finally asks what we’d like and I order a tall beer, never really gave me the chance to open a tab I. The first place. and he brings it over no problem, he wasn’t necessarily interested in talking and that’s fine neither was I. The parade starts and the group of 4 tabs out. bartender never took my card, even though it was on the bar the whole time. so I finish my beer and by this time most people at that corner of the bar are gone to watch the parade we end up being the last two at the corner of the bar. Eventually after not being asked if I wanted another beer we flag him over to pay us out. he takes my card, and then Goes missing for a couple minutes so he could pour 6 waters and serve them. After which he decided to pay us out. He earned his $0 tip to say the least. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
Nice looking spot, thought I would enjoy visiting again... BUT then I got the check. I ordered an avocado salad and asked them to put chicken on it. $21.50 for a salad with chicken added, they charged me EXTRA for dressing. It was average at best, very little avocado on it, just mostly lettuce. I might expect that price in a higher end place, but not a small town bar. Waiter wasn't the most open to hearing about it, "I don't set the prices". Won't be back. Service Dine in Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Came here for late lunch while my car got a tune up at Peep’s. First time having the lemon summer shandy beer 🤩 Most probably will say ‘where have you been!’ but I don’t really drink much anymore. Best summer beer ever. Thanks to the waiter for the wonderful suggestion. He was very nice and attentive. My veggie nachos, monkey balls and fried Oreos did not disappoint either. Overall experience 5 stars.
Stopped in for a couple of beers and a burger on a Sunday evening as a first stop traveling from out of state on business. Quiet setting at the time. Beer selection was decent, but it would have been nice to have a menu/list that we could have looked at to make a decision. I had the Bleu Burger with fries and it was c delicious!
