One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. At the very least ‘Michelin bib’ worthy. Thank you for accommodating us and our raging toddler -happy to have made one of our last family meals in Portugal here. was an amazing experience! Joana and the rest of the staff were extremely kind. The service couldn’t have been better!! The Arroz de Peixe da Figueira was the best we’ve tried! The mix of bread and Beoa, the goat butter and Mexilhões were unbelievebly delicious. A nice, sunny view to the gardens. Great fine art exhibitions and music outside, in the Cultural Centre. A truly Michelin *** service and food quality. Thank you!

One of the best meals we have ever had in Europe. The bread selection included 3 different kinds. We had the codfish tartlets as a starter and a fish stew served with locally grown rice. A bit hidden away this restaurant is certainly a gem worth looking for when in Figuera. The menue showcases local ingredients as well as traditional Portuguese cuisine with a modern and elegant twist. The staff is very forthcoming with overall excellent service. Perfect! For Portugal not good and overpriced, there are better restaurants in Portugal, ambience also not very nice , kinda in a shopping mal but that’s up to each individual, we would not visit again ,, I am sorry but need to change my review again (after you contacted complaining about the low score) , how come you dare to contact our couple friends to complain about the low score we gave you ? Its a shame what you, you are not allowed to contact any other person that wrote your review. This created us a bad sitiation with the couple we went to lunch that day. Again, shame on you Meal type Lunch Price per person €25–30

We went to Figueira da Foz to be at the ocean for one day between Lisbon and Porto - well, Figueira is not really a nice place we thought and were happy, that we stayed only one night. BUT - it was worth it, because we found Olaias. The restaurant is really beautiful - and the food and service - outstanding. We loved every minute we were there and would highly recommend it. Food and wines were delicious - we are foodies and eat in a lot of places around the world - the price at Olaias for what you get is unbelievable.

What a find! Wonderful cuisine and excellent service designed to make you feel welcome. Don't miss this place if you come to Figueira da Foz. I had the duck with rice and the mussels and onion appetizer. Would order both again.
