Only took me 7 years but I’ve finally found my favorite breakfast spot in LA. Not sure if it’s family owned but everyone working there seemed like a family. Couple that with the ocean view, and the over crowded restaurant next door and you feel like you have discovered your own hidden gem. Also the food was amazing! I ended up buying a jar of their salsa at the end of my meal and plan to always have some on deck in my fridge. It’s that good, my refrigerator will be incomplete without this salsa.
Location is nice. Only outdoor seating. Food was very mediocre. The server didn’t seem to know what was on the menu, so wI had to point to each item as we ordered. When we asked for butter (for our toast and waffles), they brought us jam. When we asked for a black tea or English breakfast, the server looked confused then brought an assortment of teas and said “this is all we have,” which did include English Breakfast, so why act so confused? Then they started playing loud music (at 9 am). And then pretty much everyone who worked there was sitting and eating or playing on their phones when we left. Poor, confusing service. $70 for 3 people, definitely too expensive for what it was.
