Ordered a high tide combo meal(which was 6 prince prawns, rice and 3 mussels), my friend then later ordered a low tide combo(which was 3 prince prawns, rice and 3 mussels) only for us to get the same food after i paid full price for it. I literally got lazy to drive back because it was rush hour already and after a long day after work. Just be sure to double check your takeout order before leaving the restaurant

Best calamari but the worst sushi ever. Just dry rice and a bit (and I mean a little bit) of filling. Ratio...rice 90% filling 10%. Service was great and the people we were with had calamari which was absolutely devine.

Great experience! The service was amazing and our waiter, Calvin, was lovely. The food was the usual delicious Ocean Basket quality and we were served generous portions. The decor and atmosphere were also very enjoyable. So good to have Ocean Basket back in Klerksdorp!
I recently visited Ocean Basket with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience left me thoroughly dissatisfied. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the service was shockingly slow.
I found myself waiting an unreasonable amount of time for both drinks and food, making the dining experience quite frustrating.They took the wrong order also. It's perplexing how a seemingly quiet evening could result in such delays. The staff appeared indifferent to the lack of prompt service, further diminishing the overall dining atmosphere.
The anticipation for a delightful seafood meal quickly turned into impatience and disappointment. If Ocean Basket aims to provide a pleasant dining experience, addressing these issues promptly would be a step in the right direction.
I hope my experience was an exception rather than the norm, but based on this visit, I cannot recommend Ocean Basket for those seeking timely and efficient service.

It was lovely.
Our food came out fast, fresh and hot. The place had a nice atmosphere and was a bit full. It felt alive.
