We went here for a benefit concert. I wasn't expecting much from the restaurant. Did they ever exceed expectations! The food here is excellent, and a great value for the price! The service and atmosphere were also pleasant and friendly. I would definitely come back here even without an event or concert. Highly recommend! The OCC Road House and Museum is a hidden gem that I stopped by, and I'm so glad I did. As I sat at the bar, the charming bartender Kate caught my eye and took care of me with exceptional service. When I asked for a recommendation, she suggested the PESTO CAVATAPPI, a dish that left me speechless. I must admit, I'm not the biggest fan of pesto, but I decided to trust Kate's judgment and added shrimp to the dish. The combination of flavors was a culinary masterpiece that delighted my taste buds. The creamy pesto sauce paired perfectly with the tender shrimp and the cavatappi pasta was cooked to perfection. The ambiance at OCC Road House and Museum is cool and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. The attention to detail in both the food and service is truly impressive, and I can't wait to return to try more of their delectable dishes. I have never eaten there, but I have been the for music and beer and it was good. Today, I decided to take the family since my daughter liked it when she went with me. We went inside, and even though the place looks great, it felt like walking into a funeral. The 4 of us ordered, 2 burgers, a grouper sandwich and mac & cheese with chicken. I asked the server what they use for burgers, and he said ground beef. The burgers looked and tasted like they were ground beef at some point, but not when they arrived there. The burgers tasted like boxed frozen burgers. No flavor and nothing better than a Wendy's burger, and I'm not a Wendy's fan. The chips were between left for too long on the fryer and burnt, the oil was dirty or maybe both. The grouper looked like it was dipped in dirty oil too. The quality of the food is very close to mediocre or even below mediocre. The server asked if we wanted dessert and he said that the desserts were really good, but I already knew his kind of taste when he recommended the other dishes, so I said , "No thanks". They mention on the menu that there will be an extra charge of 4% for using the credit card, so I was going to pay cash. The 4% was added to the bill automatically without even asking, so I went with the credit card instead. Will I be back? Probably just for the music and beer, but never for that food. Omg the food was the bomb...the cheese curds were fire 🔥 on my palet. Then I did the 1/2 wedge salid it was like the sorbet to clean my palet for the garbage 16 cauliflower pizza. Thank you for having califower cust that is just yummy. Atmosphere was phenomenal and our waitress from Iowa was the deal sealer. Young lady you rock and loved your dragon fly necklace. We recently just planned our 30 year high school reunion at the OCC. I can’t say enough about this location, the food, the staff and the entertainment. Julie was amazing helping plan our event. The night of our reunion also was the same night as The No Filter Band was booked. The event was completely sold out and packed, but we never felt crowded or waited long for drinks or food. Our servers and bar tenders were incredible! The OCC was the perfect location for a large group! Service was great, food was delicious and the entertainment was so good! We had the best time and I would 100% recommend it to anyone for an event or just some great food and drinks.
