Less than impressed with the Grill & Lounge. The food especially. I ordered the short rib pasta and it came oddly prepared with the meat pre cut into the pasta. The flavor was lacking and the sauce was way too thick for the style of noodle it was served with. I ate a few bites and took the rest to go to not be rude. My husband ordered a steak and he enjoyed the steak, but the asparagus was cold. We got a flight of whiskey and the server’s recommendations were good. The atmosphere was not what we expected. People talked highly of it and said there was a cool fireplace setting and seating, and I guess it just seemed like a bar and grill. We sat at a 2 person table by a window and I didn’t feel that “fireplace ambiance” that was talked up about. Our service was good, but more than a few tables around us were receiving wrong orders and even having to remind them of drinks that had been ordered more than once. We actually had the table next to us be visibly annoyed that we received our items before them as they expressed they’d been waiting for a while for theirs. Our waitress and servers were all pleasant and friendly, and fast, so we had no complaints regarding that. We went to the bar seating the next night and enjoyed sitting at the bar and having a single whiskey more than we did our dinner experience. Not somewhere I’d wait for or even desire to return to, really. The Best Western’s free breakfast in the same location was ten times better. Definitely disappointed in our experience. Please Read All: My now fiancé and I came here over 2 years ago and had an amazing experience. Honestly with how great everything was we were scared to return after such a long time, we were afraid it wouldn't be as good as we remembered, however now I can honestly say that If you live within 3 hours of here or EVER go to Yosemite, Oakhurst Grill NEEDS to be your first restaurant stop. This is the best restaurant I've been to in all of California. Cody also gave my fiance and I the best service we've ever experienced. Anything you order will be phenomenal. We plan on coming back to try and work our way through the menu. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Al Fresco Angel Hair

After a long day in Yosemite, this is the perfect place first dinner. We arrived 45 min before closing and the staff welcomed us with open arms. I definitely recommend trying their Whiskey Flight! We ordered the chicken Alfredo, three cheese baked ravioli, chicken Marsala, chicken piccata and some sides. The Hawaiian Kabobs were so tasty! I think it is so sweet they have the oil paintings from the original owner on display all over the restaurant. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Food was delicious. Recommend the clam chowder in a bread bowl. The meat is also good. Nice place to chill and have a relaxing time. Recommend! Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
