🔥☕ I was presently surprised by how delicious the iced latte here was. This is one of the best lattes I've had in a while. So far I've stopped at 7 coffee shops in the Boston area and this one had the best coffee. Update: stopped in one more time before heading out of town. Excellent. Hole in the wall third wave coffee shop, for taking your coffee in the go (but two stools remain if you want to take a seat). The espresso was a lighter roast with excellent notes. Fresh made pastries was very good as well. Blueberry lemon scone and banana bread are great. Vanilla lattes use simple syrup with some vanilla bean powder. Unique and great. I've been looking for a good scone, so O'Some Cafe has been on my list, especially since they have some unique flavors. There was plenty of metered parking. The inside is small, so expect to take things to go. I got the salted toffee latte, onion/mushroom/parmesan (?) scone, and yuzu pound cake. - Salted toffee latte: I was disappointed with this because I didn't taste any of the salted toffee, so I pretty much paid for an overpriced hot coffee. I probably should have gone with the matcha strawberry recommendation, but that drink only comes iced, and I wanted something to warm me up at the time. - Onion/mushroom/parmesan scone: The flavors were subtle, but the scone overall was ok. I liked how moist it was, but I think it would taste better warm. I wouldn't say it was the best scone I've had, but I'd be interested in trying a sweet one next time. - Yuzu pound cake: This was my favorite item that I ordered. The yuzu flavor was prominent throughout the pound cake, and the glaze on top was the perfect amount of sweetness. The pound cake was also moist. The workers were busy prepping the holiday boxes, but they were both very nice. I'll attribute the latte miss due to the distractedness and would be open to trying something else if I come back since the pictures of their drinks do look good. This is such a neighborhood gem, and I hope they continue to be successful and grow! Their black sesame latte is to die for, and the fresh pastries every morning are delicious. The baristas are extremely friendly, and they put a lot of care into what they do. Highly, highly recommend. Took one star for atmosphere simply because it’s small with no seating. Once they grow, I’m sure they’ll add more space. I can’t wait for that! A small space that rightly focuses on outstanding quality over all else. A surprisingly diverse drink menu supported by stellar baked goods makes for an excellent place to go for a quick stop in your mornings.
