This was my first time ever at an O'Charley's and I enjoyed my dinner. I went in not long before closing, so the restaurant was virtually empty. I sat at the bar for dinner and the 15 yrs long employee bartender was super friendly and helpful! The food was good and I really enjoyed the chicken tenders, which I was told afterwards, was what they're known for. I always like restaurants like this that have a large pub-type atmosphere, so I enjoyed that as well. Waited a bit on food , but could live with that. My issue was my 8yr old daughters wanted an extra roll before we left, and after 10 minutes or so we flagged our waitress down and she had forgot them. We could have even understood that but it’s when after that she completely ignored us. Bottom line horrible service, and this happened in front of the manager who told me have a good night and come back. There is no danger of that I will not be back. We go here often. Good food, unless you want a burger or steak that’s anything less than well-done. Recently we ordered a steak rare, just for fun, and there was zero pink lol Service inside is usually fine, but ordering to-go at the Christiansburg location is like pulling teeth. Spare yourself the headache and just eat inside or use DoorDash so someone else will have to suffer. They say to park in the designated to-go spot outside, and then text, but nobody ever comes out. You have to go inside and still wait far over the estimated pickup time. Last time my order was to be ready at 3:20. It didn’t come out until almost 4:00. 3-4 bored staff members chatted at the podium up front the entire time and never once said “let me see how much longer it’ll be”, or “we’re sorry for the wait”. This was New Year’s Eve and hardly anyone was dining inside. So that was lame. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Food tasted okay. Quesadilla was more tortilla than filling. Server started off good but after bringing food he disappeared. He finally came back with the check and then I sat for about 15 minutes with my credit card on the table before he came by to pick it up.
