Most authentic Nyonya food I have had for a long time. By the way, I was born and bred in Melaka, so I know what I’m talking about. Lovely setting with Peranakan antiques scattered around the restaurant. My absolute favourite dishes were the prawn lemak nenas and the bush keluak. Chef Ricky came over to speak to us and was interesting to hear about the different recipes and the ingredients that go into the dish to give the special flavour. Buah keluak is a very peranakan dish and Chef Ricky explained the many steps to prepare the dish. Did you realise that buah keluak is a kernel and it needs to be soaked in running water for about five days? We will be back to try the two other popular dishes - pongteh and Kuah lada. Might seem bias, but if you're looking for some good peranakkan home cook food, this is the place to go in melaka. Price is decent, home cook recipes passed down from grandparents and friendly staff. Baba Ricky himself manages the food and kitchen, rest assured food is good. Been there few times, but this trip only had something light Pai Tee and cendol before leavinge melaka. Had to kena the cendol. Must have for sure. Meal type Other Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Nyonya Cendol
Indulged in authentic Nyonya cuisine at this gem of a place. The flavourful dishes were a true delight, capturing the essence of traditional flavours. The cozy ambience transported me to another era, creating a perfect setting to savour the meal. What impressed me further was the reasonable pricing, making it a wonderful value for the experience. A memorable culinary journey that offered a taste of rich heritage with every bite. Highly recommended for those seeking delicious Nyonya fare in a charming atmosphere without breaking the bank. The food was excellent. Variety of food selection. Where to begin? Everything is nice to me. I enjoy the food and the company that i had. The ambiance awesome. Pretty looking restaurant. Peace and quiet. Away from hustling bustling, i like it. The server (coffee), perhaps be extra careful while serving. Do not put the coffee cup near ur mouth while talking explaining to customers, ur saliva might spill inside the coffee 😝 we dont want extra salt sugar inside our coffee. The owner was very friendly to us. Explain stuff & greet all of us. Great experience here. Might not be for everyone, tastebud is subjective, i might like & enjoy it but not you. Cant have the same taste & liking. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Nyonya Cendol

Pretty cafe with peranakan deco. We were a group of 5 plus 2 little kids for lunch. We had to wait quite awhile for our food. Food portions were fixed. Quite small. We ordered 6 dishes and cendol fir dessert. Overall tasty food. Ayam buah keluak was tasty. We will come again for the cendol. Second day CNY and found the place by accident, thankfully its open. Was very surprised from the moment we entered, very clean and tradisional, well decorated with a splash of nyonya. The food, we definitely hit a jackpot. Had the rendang ayam, ayam pongteh, kangkung belacan, calamansi jug, and top it with gula Melaka chendol. I think this place is one of those that you can actually taste the ingredients they're using is quality/ fresh. The staff was welcoming and attentive. Definitely recommending to friends and family, and my go to next time in town Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pongteh Chicken

It was a Friday and not super crowded. We had good peranakan food here. It’s pork free but we had our fixed. The cendol was frozen so that was a wee bit slacking. Overall it won’t deter me not going again. Well done nyonya Lin
