Great place to go for a date night. True Italian dishes, great atmosphere, servers have personalities all their own. We've been here a couple of times and everything is awesome. Get a few baskets of bread, proceeds go to charity. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Blue Point Oysters

Go left and go right, go everywhere, but you will never find better than Ciao and Chef Antonio! Ciao is really the best! Start with the delicious bread with the bread price going as a donation! Then, get a delicious appetizer like the grilled and fried calamari I also love the octopus at Ciao ! The menu is full of options! I love all the pastas, especially the lasagna, puttanisca, and the aglio e olio ! Pizza is amazing here, too ! The ambiance is pretty nice and warm! I love the bar seating area I can't wait to go there again! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Caesar Salad
This place is tucked into a regular plaza, but it's food is simply outstanding! Had the Ciao pizza and absolutely fantastic. Properly cooked, great chew in the crust, and ingredients were fresh and delicious. Warm atmosphere and clean bathrooms! I've been here a few times and the food is always delicious. Yes, bread service is a $1 now but it's not a deal breaker. I always order the eggplant parmesan and it is always crispy and has the perfect amount of cheese melted on top. Weekends are generally very busy and seating can be limited but a weekday lunch is almost empty! I was really wanting to love this place. This place was highly recommended by a buddy and we were greatly looking forward to coming here. The drive was going to be more than an hour but the place came with high recommendation and I wanted to treat my wife! The food was phenomenal!! I had grilled Calamari and Il Misto. LOVED IT!! My wife had Gluten Free Bruschetta and Caesar's Salad. They were out of Gluten Free Noodles. That's the first problem we had. I called ahead before I made reservations to ask about Gluten Free noodles. The person that took the call was friendly and told me that they could convert, except for a few select pasta dishes, into Gluten Free. I was really excited to take my wife to a place where she would have good selection. A little bit bummed that they were out of GF noodles. The main issue was our waiter. She did not introduce herself for starters, and wasn't very helpful. I took the time to reflect on how to put down an honest review rather than just firing one off the cuff. Essentially, she did what she was supposed to, she checked in on us after the appetizers were served and when the entrees were delivered, and she also apologized for not having GF noodles. However, she wasn't very attentive, and walked away while I was trying to place my order. This stood out the most because the rest of the wait staff was super attentive to their tables, they introduced themselves, asked good questions to help their table, followed up with suggestions on their table like "would you like cheese on that, " apologized for what sounded like a minor mistake and definitely gave the impression that people were welcome there. In contrast, I had to get my waitress attention after walking by us several times. I was already perturbed because she had walked away while I was trying to talk to her. Finally, she took the check while I was still sitting on the table. They weren't busy but it made us feel less welcome. Honestly, if the waitress had been in Olive Garden or Outback she would have done a good job. However, I was expecting better service from a restaurant that's top 100 in the US and Top 5 in the VA and DC area. So amazing food, not as much of GF food as stated, and while the general wait staff seemed great, we got one that wasn't, which definitely affected the experience. Food & service was good, the ambiance felt like a Italian restaurant in a movie scene. Wood fire pizza oven and decor was nice. The only part that killed our dining experience was the dessert policy. You can't bring in your own dessert even if you have a large party. I asked the waiter if we could pay a cake cutting fee instead but he said no. I understand about bringing in outside dessert, but at least just charge a cake cutting fee. Restaurants are places for family events, and memories. By not allowing to cut a simple cake ruined the dinning experience, I work for a restaurant company that had been in the business for 40 years, and one thing I learned most was the word hospitality, even if the customer is wrong always make them happy in the end.
