Great food made to order service was great but they still have smoking and non smoking sections so be aware of you have breathing difficulties Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Not from plainview, I took a wild guess for a place to eat and I'm glad we did!! My hubby loved the grits, my sister loved the eggs, and I loved the atmosphere!!! Old time jukeboxes, and our waitress was super sweet. We got our food the way we asked ""real food"" gravy was homemade, grits perfect, and watching ol timers laugh and joke!!! I sooooo loved it!!! Didn't get to taste the food because we never got served. No one greeted us, no one came to our table, no one gave us a menu. We sat for over 10 minutes without even a 'Good morning! We'll be right with you'. We decided it wasn't worth our time. The fact that they had smoking still in the second dining room was gross, the smoke still came into the non smoking area. It looked dirty and dingy inside .... Not a great place to stop Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I got the 2 eggs with ham breakfast. Ham was paper thin and only a spattering of overcooked hash browns. The portions are ridiculously tiny. It looked like I ordered off the kids menu. Don't come here if you're very hungry. I did not leave satisfied. Also, this place allows smoking. When I walked in there was a bunch of old guys staring at me while hacking up a lung. Not a good atmosphere at all. I would give 1 star but the service was actually pretty good. Very attentive and nice. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10

I don't believe places in Texas don't actually make sausage gravy.. They did put some sausage in country gravy for me, very much enjoyed the food and the friendliness of the wait staff.. I love this place I don't live in Plainview but I will sure be back there soon. Great prices and very friendly waitresses. Free music on the jukebox. And also have old fashion music players at each table.
