After passing by a packed Jalapeno's I found this hidden Gem. Great barkeep. Very cold beer. Awesome cheeseburger with tater tots. Fast kitchen. Nice ambiance. Very clean locals spot. COVID-19 friendly.

Order some wings to go. They were juicy and lots of meat with no breading the way I like it. But the blue cheese what really set it apart. It was delicious with nice little blue cheese chunks in it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Michelle our bartender was great. She asked our names and actually remembered them. No draft beer which made me sad but they had my favorite bottled beer and it was COLD. We had dinner sitting at the bar and the regulars around us made us feel welcome. Dinner was plentiful and good. Huge portions. A fun place to visit. A couple of pool games going on. We'd be regulars but we are just here for a couple of days before traveling on to our next stop. We had a bar like this decades ago ( the Hitching Post Saloon ). It felt like home. Norwood Tavern is a small bar that... According to reviews has great food. U shaped bar, and a couple booths (the latter lit by super bright fluorescent bulbs). Took my parents here a few days after Christmas for a quick meal after reading reviews. We sat in one of the booths... And waited, and waited. 15 minutes in, I went to the bar and asked if we should order there, or if they had table service... "Sorry, we're doing shift change. The bartender that starts at 7 will be over soon" (at 7:15). 7:30 rolls around. Both bartenders are still behind the bar. One is fratenizing with the 5 guests they had, the other is chatting with kitchen staff. I ask the same person if we'll be served, and ask for menus. I get 2 menus for 3 people, out of the big stack they had. 7:40, and we're sick of waiting. Initial bartender is gone. New bartender is stacking cups on the bar rail. I ask miss "starts at 7pm" if we will be served. A drunk patron tells me that she "isn't my bellhop", and the bartender laughs, and says... No, she won't be serving us at the table. This place was mostly empty... Maybe 5-6 people at the bar. We would have been completely fine with ordering from the bar, but how freaking difficult is it to walk over to a table and tell us that, instead of completely ignoring us? Why did the previous bartender assure us that we would be taken care of? It was much more expensive, but we ended up at Pearl's around the corner and had a fantastic meal. The cheap prices might be enticing, but avoid this place... It's pretty dumpy and the service is nonexistent.
This is a fantastic Locals place. A must try for visitors and locals alike. The food portions and taste are large in every way. Just think of everyone's favorite bar... Cheer's and you'll have a good idea of what to expect. And the welcoming service provided by Michelle our bartender was over the top. Oh, the prices were very reasonable. So give Norwood's a try. #CUontheroad C&R Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Tater Tots

Prices absolutely amazing! Food way too good! Drinks great! Cleanest dive bar with great food! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pizza Steak
We stopped by on a Monday in early February. Rotisserie chicken day. A meat and three sides for $9. It was excellent! All white meat chicken, green beans cooked with bacon and onion, black eye peas with a light sauce, and mashed with brown gravy. The weather cooperated and we sat outside at the high top benches, enjoyed our meal and the laid back atmosphere, and plotted our next stop. The barkeep was our server, very friendly, and quick service. If you are looking for a local spot go to Norwood Tavern. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
