Great little breakfast spot with good coffee very close to EWR Airport. Definitely recommend.

Great Portuguese bakery. People is very nice and their food is excellent. The "pastel de nata" was amazing. If you are staying in the neighborhood (airbnb or other) definitely go there to have breakfast before going to Manhattan.

Great little neighborhood luncheonette. All day breakfast and lunch. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Not a huge menu, but exactly what was needed for a late breakfast as I waited for the bus to NY that stops just down the block.
The fresh coffee and orange juice were on point.
To eat i had a 3 egg veggie omelet with toast and home fries. I asked for hot sauce and was offered their homemade hot sauce, with a warning that it was very hot. It was quite hot, but in all the best ways. A perfect compliment to my meal.
If I lived or worked nearby, I would be here all the time, but alas I was just visiting.

Love their breakfast sandwich as well as the variety on the lunch menu. Breakfast platter is one of my favorite at this place.
I appreciate the old school style it has. :-) but most important their cleanliness.
Those breakfast sandwiches are amazing. Also had a cheesesteak there with bacon bits that was great. The waitresses are very nice as well. Definitely recommend this place
Travelling from a very small town in SC, I love to find small, authentic, local places to eat wherever I go. North Ave Luncheonette fits this description perfectly. Excellent breakfast, wonderful bread. Everybody was very nice and friendly, staff and patrons. So glad they were open on Thanksgiving Day!!
