I first tried this restaurant for the first time last year and I’m so glad I found it. It’s in a nice quiet part of Federal Way that is still central and easy to access. When walking in, you initially notice how small the restaurant, but that adds to how intimate it is. The layout is great with the sushi bar being front and center and the dining on either side. The ambiance is perfect to feel like fine dining with low lights, beautifully simple decor, and soft music. It’s fairly quiet inside, which is a relief with how small it is and how easily it could get loud, but all the customers respect the preexisting volume level. The servers are very prompt and polite. The menu is pretty expansive, so there is always something new to try. The prices are also extremely reasonable. Compared to other local sushi spots, the price for the quality is unmatched. All the ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Just the presentation alone is artistic. I’ve ordered multiple of the appetizers and tried a variety of the rolls, and even the basic rolls are crafted with the same love and beauty as the specialty rolls. This has become a favorite for a quiet and fancy date night and is my go to for sushi in Federal Way. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
First time at this place and we were happy with the food and service. High quality fish if you're craving for sashimi and sushi 🍣. A little bit pricey compared to other Japanese resto around Federal Way but this is not your usual "Americanized" sushi. Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

**A Michelin-Worthy Delight: Nori Sushi's Omakase Take-Out Experience** Embarking on an exquisite culinary journey from the comforts of work, I recently savored the omakase from Nori Sushi in Federal Way, WA. To say it was impressive would be an understatement – it was a Michelin-grade dining experience in take-out form! Unveiling the package was like unwrapping a treasure. Each sushi piece was a masterpiece, reflecting the elegance and refinement one would expect from top-tier dining. The freshness of the fish was unparalleled, each slice melting in the mouth with a symphony of flavors that spoke of the sea's bounty and the chef's expert selection. The artistry in preparation and presentation was evident. Despite the challenge of delivering such a high-caliber experience through take-out, Nori Sushi exceeded all expectations. The textures were harmonious, the flavors were bold yet balanced, and the overall experience was nothing short of culinary excellence. This omakase experience was a testament to the heights that sushi can achieve. For aficionados seeking a Michelin-starred sushi experience outside the conventional restaurant setting, Nori Sushi is a gem worth exploring. It's a perfect blend of quality, artistry, and flavor, making it a must-try for anyone seeking an extraordinary sushi journey. This neighborhood is so lucky! The Sushi is far and above all around. I certainly hope the take out is booming because there are only a few tables and once everyone finds out, you will never get in! 😋 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
