As I entered the restaurant the aroma of the food was very tantalizing and I noticed the extreme cleanliness of the place. We ordered seafood pancakes, homemade fresh kimchi, and Jung Bong, the spicy noodle seafood soup. The food had outstanding flavors and quality ingredients. I highly recommend you to dine there. If I could I would give 10 stars. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Jung Bong Spicy Seafood Broth
I absolutely love this noodle shop and can’t appreciate enough of the amazing food and the warmest service I received from this restaurant in a tiny small coastal Oregon town. First the food is legit. High-quality and good flavors. Jung Bong is a must have and the seafood pancake. It’s one of the best seafood pancake I have had! Owner is super heartwarming. Did her best to accommodate me, and offered me to try their freshly made kimchi and some other preserved vegetables. Oh BOY did they taste good! Knowing that I’ll still be driving down the coast south on my summer roadtrip, the owner packed me more kimchi, and rice and her freshly-made yams. The owner told me about the history of this shop and the story behind her motivation in coming here to PNW to open an eastern Asian noodle shop. She ll also give you many travel advice on the local attractions. I for sure will come back one day 😉 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Recommended dishes Jung Bong Spicy Seafood Broth

My husband had wanted to try this restaurant for two years! I regret that I took us so long to find this treasure! Everything is made fresh from the spring rolls to the broth. It is seasoned with fresh herbs and spices! It will warm you from the inside out! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Bibimbap

The best ramen on the Oregon coast that I've found. The broth is as good as many I've found in big cities. They have tonkatsu, miso , and shoyu broth options. I recommend tonkatsu but I'm always partial to it. They have a varied menu with a range of Asian options. We are in town visiting. We had the Jung Bong spicy soup. Amazing. We will be back for sure! Plus some of the best kimchi we have had. Very friendly staff as well. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Jung Bong Spicy Seafood Broth
Food and service was great! I had the garlic chicken (it is kind of like orange or sweet n sour chicken) breaded white meat chicken with a yummy sauce. I asked for spicy and they brought me a jar of spicy sauce, like hot chili oil to add. It was delicious! It is served with the broccoli and rice. My friend got the bulgogi beef with the onions. She thought it was good. We ordered the noodle bread- tastes alot like fry bread. We took some home so we could eat it with butter and honey. The spring rolls were a little mushy inside, but were good- they were served with some type of jelly looking dip, tasted sweet. I mixed the hot chili oil with the orange dip/jelly stuff- it was very tasty. I definitely recommend this place! I couldn’t say enough great things about this restaurant, the owners and their staff. Excellent food and service every time! Lisa is such a genuine, caring character with such warm humor. We really enjoy her company and she makes her customers feel like they’ve been invited to her home for an outstanding meal. The seafood pancake is TO DIE FOR! Also love the crispy garlic chicken and the curry. 10/10 recommend!!

This place is an absolute hidden gem! I am so glad I found a place that serves authentic Japanese ramen on this stretch of the coast. Their fried rice is to die for - unbelievably flavorful and great portion size. We got our food to go from Newport to Depoe Bay and the ramen was still hot when we got home! Service was quick and they were very kind. Can’t wait to go back! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food tastes home-cooked, they make REAL Asian food in a town full of clam chowders. Not like the 🐼 Express. There are big shrimp in the seafood pancake, taste fresh and delicious. I really liked the Jung Bong spicy seafood broth, great flavor with lots of fresh seafood, variety of veggies, and delicious noodles, big portion too! Lisa is an interesting person with great personality, she is strong and funny! We enjoyed talking to her listening to her unique experiences. Btw, the kimchi tasted great, pure crunchy homemade kimchi! Reasonable price to get such Real delicious Asian food with huge portion. If you are tired of clam chowder and fried fish and chips, want to try some authentic Asian flavor, this is the place to go in Newport.
