My recent Wednesday lunchtime trip to Nomad Pizza in Princeton was a delightful slice of local life. The vibe was buzzing with professionals grabbing a quick bite and families catching up over piping hot pies. The single host and server were doing their best to keep up with the demand, and while service was a tad slow, their kindness and efficiency shone through. We dove into the menu, starting with two fresh salads (perfect for balancing out the upcoming pizza onslaught!). Then came the main event: customizable pizzas that are simply out of this world. I've been a Nomad devotee for five years now, and their consistently incredible crust never disappoints. It's thin, perfectly charred, and holds its own against the generous load of toppings. Speaking of toppings, Nomad uses only the freshest ingredients, and even their oregano comes straight from the leafy goodness, not some dusty shaker. For drinks, they have a fun selection of Mexican sodas and San Pellegrino, perfect for washing down all that cheesy goodness. And no Nomad visit is complete without a round of foosball. We indulged in a quick game both before and after our feast, adding a playful touch to the already fantastic experience. To top it all off, we shared a Nutella pizza. While I craved a bit more fruit action, the rich Nutella and perfectly cooked crust was a sweet ending to a savory symphony. The portion sizes were spot-on, leaving us happy but not stuffed, which is always a win. In short, Nomad Pizza is a Princeton gem. It's a place where locals gather, professionals unwind, and foodies rejoice. The customizable pizzas are the star of the show, with their fresh ingredients and incredible crust stealing the hearts (and stomachs) of all who try them. Sure, service might be a tad slow at times, but the friendly staff and overall fantastic experience make it a small price to pay. Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars (minus a smidge for the occasional service slow-down, but major props for the foosball and fresh oregano!) Bonus tip: Don't forget to BYOB for the ultimate personalized touch! Pizza was pretty decent for brick oven style. I had the margarita and the vegan pizza but added cheese so it's like a veggie option. The crust was slightly burnt as in I tasted the burnt-Ness and that's a big no no for me. The tomato sauce was good but nothing special Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes The Calabrian Pizza

Spicy sausage pizza was good but not spicy at all. I’m not sure if they are catering to an American spice level or what, but I didn’t feel any difference. I added fig jam to half of the pizza and it was delicious. Highly recommend adding fig jam to every pizza! Margherita di bufala, where is the basil? Good question, I asked myself the same thing when I opened the box and saw those 2 little leaves. If you’re sharing the pizza with more than 2 people, you’ll have to flip a coin to see who gets the 2 lucky slices with a piece of basil. If I come back, I’d def have them cook it longer because the bottom of the pizza was too soft. Overall, I’d rate it a 2.5 but it came out surprisingly fast so I rounded up Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Recommended dishes Spicy Sausage

Too many flying insects to enjoy our meal. We may try again once the weather gets colder and the mostly outdoor restaurant is closed in. The truffle pizza was good but a bit soggy. The blue cheese salad was big enough to share and pretty good. The service was friendly and efficient. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

My go-to restaurant if I crave for some real good pizzas! I love how pizzas are made and baked freshly when ordered. They have open kitchen so you can see the cooks making your food. My personal favorite is Guanciale with crispy pork and fig jam, the savory and sweetness balance each other so well! We tried seasonal pesto pizza is also decent too. Will definitely come back and try some more. *Updated* I tried the Anchovy and Shiitake mushroom pizzas today. The Anchovy one with salami or pepperoni on make it super salty for my own taste. However, the Shiitake mushroom is decent with the sweetness of mushroom and grilled diced onions.
