Probably the best and only $4 sandwich I’ve ever had. The menu feels like you’re taking a step back in time with the prices. It’s a dive, don’t expect gourmet. What can I say about Nickels that isn't great... Starting with the Owner, who is a great guy that has a great local establishment. Always drink specials & reasonable prices. The menu is below w great prices & food is made fresh daily. The Roast Beef Sliders are delicious. He is always doing cookouts & complimentary food on Holidays & for Game Days. When I stopped in on Sunday to say hello, he bought me a drink & there was Free 🍕.. Does it get any better. The bar is clean & always local people in there.. it's a great representation of South Philly to me... Diverse Crowd all hanging out & having fun, Friendly & Full of Old School Hospitality & Always a Great Deal to be Found if you know where to go... If you haven't been , Check it out. They are also Pet Friendly for Well Behaved Pets... Hoping to do a Fundraiser there in the Future....
