If you're a cinnamon roll lover, you absolutely have to try NiceBites! In my opinion, they make the best cinnamon rolls in the world, and I don't say that lightly. I've tried cinnamon rolls in 23 countries and all over the US, and none of them even come close to the deliciousness of NiceBites' cinnamon rolls.
One of the most amazing things about these cinnamon rolls is that they're vegan, which is hard to believe because they taste so rich and decadent. You'd never know they were vegan unless someone told you. But what's even more incredible is the emotional impact these cinnamon rolls can have on you.
I had a really terrible day once, and my mom surprised me with a cinnamon roll from NiceBites. When I took a bite, it was so good that I started to cry - that's how much it meant to me in that moment. It was like all my problems disappeared, and I was just left with this warm, comforting feeling. That's the power of a really amazing cinnamon roll, and NiceBites delivers on that in spades.
So if you're a cinnamon roll fan, or just looking for a delicious treat to brighten your day, definitely check out NiceBites. You won't be disappointed!
Nicebites was nothing short of amazing. We had a smashcake photo opportunity with our photographer and I asked for a cake with short notice for the bakery and received a beautiful, delicious, affordable cake for my daughter with an egg allergy. Brother even had to try some!
While I do appreciate vegan/gluten free options, the few times I’ve gotten food here I’ve felt unimpressed and haven’t yet felt tempted to return. Really seemed like the salsa and guacamole for the burritos were something bought at Costco and not made in house. It also seemed to lack seasoning. will say that all the baked goods I’ve gotten from here over the years have been dynamite. The savory stuff just hasn’t left me impressed. Will return if I see a special tempting enough.
I do NOT recommend purchasing NiceBites baked goods.
On Sunday, June 19th, 2022, a friend of mine ordered an apple pie from NiceBites via text. Because of his strong gluten allergy, he made sure to order a gluten-free pie.
The next day he picked up the pie only to find out that it was NOT gluten free as requested. The owner initially denied having received a request for a gluten-free pie (despite the texted request). My friend very graciously paid the $35 for the pie anyway, thinking his family might enjoy it in any case.
That evening he received a text from the NiceBites owner with an apology and an offer of some free baked goods from her shop. This offer was not accepted because the pie quality was poor(dry and chewey), and because the owner didn't immediately admit her mistake, and only later blamed her assistant.
The pie ended up in the trash.
You can get their pastries and treats inside Poppies Cafe - located at 9111 E. Douglas inside the (not downtown) Ruffin Building. Prices are extremely reasonable and everything was fresh. She does not freeze any of her baked items, which I thought was really cool. I got a vegan Cinnamon roll and wow! It was delicious 😋 😍 I also tried my husband's Oatmeal cream pie and it was delicious!
You can also go to the website and order custom fresh bakery items.
I have weird allergies/sensitivities to corn and soy, which (as I’m sure you can imagine) is in EVERYTHING in some form. I’ve now made it through 2 food-centered holidays without any allergy issues, thanks in a big part to NiceBites. The cupcakes are beyond delicious, and it’s wonderful to have a dessert I know I can eat without getting sick. Thank you so much!
Sarah makes wonderful vegan desserts. I usually buy from the Coop or perfect plate. She has her goodies at various places. My husband really likes the cherry almond bundle cake. The staff at Red Robin were Ewing and awing our desserts that smelt wonderful. I gave each one information on where our goodies were from.
