I absolutely love this hot pot place! They have a great selection of authentic, high quality, hotpot items (including some of my favorites like duck blood and chewy noodles). I like how these items are self-serve so you don’t have to wait. I especially love their complimentary appetizer bar. They have high-quality unique appetizers there, including chicken feet and clams. And of course the salted peanuts are great 🙃 This is my favorite hot pot in the bay
Also parking lot big so hasn’t been that hard to find parking.

It was my first time trying this type of hot pot, and I was pretty excited. I love hot so adding a different type of experience is great.
Since we had never been here, when we were seated the host told us how everything works. The concept is pretty simple, you go to the refrigerated area and grab all the skewers and trays that you like to eat, then bring it back to your table and start cooking. Each stick costs $0.50, and some items have two sticks in them. It was mostly the meat items that had two sticks.
There are also other items on trays such as noodles, innards, mushrooms, vegetables, and other items. You definitely need to pay attention to the color of the tray, as there are different price points when it comes to the trays.
They also have a sauce bar and other appetizer type items available. I think my favorite item on the appetizer bar were their seasoned peanuts.
Overall, I think this is a great concept and the cost is not too bad. I honestly think if you stick to getting only sticks and not a ton of items on trays your price point will definitely not be too bad. You are also able to order some things through that app.
Service is okay, I wasn't too sure on who you could ask for refills of water. Most of the experience is do it yourself so you don't really need anyone to help you.

This is a Chinese hotpot place. There is one pot per table of 4 to 6. The pot is divided into 2 halves so you could have 2 different types of soup. Everything is mostly self-serviced. You go to the sauce bar to mix your sauce. There are also appetizers and some desserts there, all included. For meat and other food you have to go to the fridge to pick whatever you want. The meat are pre-seasoned and put on skewer sticks and is $0.50 per skewer stick. Some have 2 skewer sticks and that means they are $1 each. Other kind of foods are put on colored dishes. Each color for a different price, ranging from $3.95 to $22.95. At the end of the meal they would count the number of skewer sticks and the colored dishes. Overall the food is good especially the meat as they are pre-seasoned, but we feel the price is just too high.

I’ve tried 3 串串 (hotpot skewers) places in the Bay Area and this is definitely my favorite! I went to the LA one last year and was amazed by it and therefore was so excited when I heard we now have it here as well. I went there with high expectations but it still didn’t disappoint me! The soup broth tastes perfect, food quality is great, and good selections of free snacks/fruits/dessert. We got medium spicy and is already quite spicy, and my spicy tolerance is quite high. The ambience is also great, servers are nice. The only thing I’m a little sad is that I don’t get to eat any eat lamb skewers - I didn’t see it in the fridge. Not sure if it’s they don’t have it or maybe I’ll have to look harder next time. Anyway I’ll definitely go back! Highly recommended if you like spicy food.

Came here for the first time last weekend! Friendly and attentive staff. Good variety of options and love how easily we can grab more hot pot ingredients from the fridge ourselves. Enjoyed the complimentary desserts and snack bar too.

The restaurant had a fantastic interior decor
The highlight of my experience was the authenticity and quality of the food. The flavors of the hot pot and the skewered items were truly authentic, providing a genuine taste experience. The variety of ingredients available ensured there was something for everyone's preference.
However, I did encounter a few issues during my visit. Firstly, the refill process at the small food counter was quite slow. It took a while for the staff to replenish the items, resulting in some waiting time. Similarly, the refill of fruits was also slow, causing a delay in enjoying fresh fruit.
Additionally, the queue at the skewered items station was quite long. It took some patience and time to get our desired skewers, which slightly impacted the overall dining experience.

My name is Forest:
I had been here many time before in the past 20 years when other brands/cuisins were here.
For this new name, a client treated me and my family here at Christmas eve, and I took my family here with two new weds friends here 2 days later, and took my other clients from Beijing here. Basically I dined here 3 times within one week. I am a realtor and life insurance super expert broker.
5 star is changed to 4, after I read another review, I agreed with her, which is the price ended up a bit high.
