Absolutely terrible food, super greasy with zero flavor. The service was even worse.

This place is great value for what you get. It is very basic and from what we understand has one non en suite room for $12/night and then a number of others with bathrooms for $17. We stayed in the non en suite and the share bathroom was fine. Decent shower with cold water and it was clean enough. The beds are reasonably comfortable and the rooms are cool enough at night and come with a fan. The rooms are open at the top, with a very sturdy mosquito net which means they can be a little noisy at times but the hostel is a pretty quite place so it isn’t really a problem unless you’re a very light sleeper. The WiFi in the hostel is good and reliable and the free included breakfast is brilliant. You choose off their actual restaurant menu and can have a proper meal with rice and beans and eggs! This is by no means luxury but it is probably the best value you will get in town and the staff and all really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to a budget minded traveller!

We stayed there 5 nights. Great location very central. Its very quiet even tought its on the tourist street. Great choice of breakfast included with the room. The room was confortable with a fan. Shower was difficult at times (no water at all when they do laundry). Great wifi. Staff was nice. Cool common area with hammock.

I reserved three rooms for our group of six, and we each received simple, very basic rooms with clean sheets and towels, and - more importantly - a fan. It was very hot and humid during our stay, so the fan was very welcome. Use it. There are no cross breezes in this place. We were only there for two nights, but we took advantage of the airport shuttle service they offer (for an added fee), and even though they offer free breakfast, we chose to eat at Kathy's Waffle House and at the all-you-can-eat buffet at the Museo de Chocolate. This place does NOT offer a/c as an added option, so if that is important to you, go elsewhere. Also, I do like to have peace and quiet when I go to bed, so it was nice to discover that everything shuts down around 10 pm. Management was very nice, and did not stress out about when we were going to pay them. (this was never a problem... we just paid as we checked out.) Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. :)

We stayed here for two nights in the private room with bathroom. |Room itself was small, others around looked much bigger. The two plugs in the room were absolutely useless, one was controlling the fan and had black tape around to stop it falling out. Another didn't work and we had to charge our devices with a plug outside the room with the door open. The room was also next door to the public toilets and you can hear everything as there's only screens above the wall. Our en suite bathroom didn't look as though it was clean and a nasty smell came from the toilet in the evenings and made it unusable. |We also woke up in the night to find a cockroach on the bed and mouse droppings on our belongings. |There's a restaurant and bar to use, good prices for the beers, the food was a bit out of our budget so can't comment. |The breakfast was great, you have a good choice of food from the menu and free coffee throughout the day. |Wifi to use, though it didn't work as well in the room, worked better outside. |Not much of a backpacker vibe so wouldn't recommend for solo travellers. |The hostel is in a great location, restaurants, bars and park nearby. Staff were friendly.|If we had another room it may be different story however this is probably the worst room we've stayed during our world travel.

We stayed here for 3 nights, I guess for its location. It's a very cheap place and you get what you pay for. Our room was very big but other rooms not so. The shower has low walls, so you can hear everything ! |The staff and location was great. Breakfast was very nice and pretty big. You can walk to all the main sights from here and enjoy happy hour 241 ! I'm not sure if I'd recommend this place but having said that I did not encounter any issues during my stay !

This place was great for 17$ (we are two) we got a decent room with fan and private bathroom and the shower is fine (normal temperature, not cold but not hot). |They have hammocks free of use that is very nice to chill in. |Good WiFi and GREAT BREAKFAST in the morning and you can choose what you want. Best breakfast that is included for this price and you will have to look hard to find one like this. Good portions too (I switched my bread for fruit and that was great too) nothing to complain about:) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

+ Excellent breakfast - can select any breakfast option from the menu||+ Excellent location - on the pedestrian street, lined with restaurants & tour agencies, a block from Parque Central & the Cathedral||+ Very friendly & helpful staff||+ Very strong fan, esp. since it gets hot in the room||+ Great price for a private room w/ private bath in the heart of Granada - hard to beat!||||- Walls were wooden panels, with screens at the top - can hear all the noise outside||- Room & bathroom were a bit old/rundown & not the cleanest, but for the price & location, it was fine

We loved our stay at Nicaragua Mia! Don't get me wrong, the place is not fancy, but the rooms are perfectly adequate, and the cheap price included breakfast, which was a huge bonus!||The location on Calle La Calzada was perfect for us, really close to lots of great bars and restaurants. A big thank you goes out to Byron Ortega, who can be contacted on the forums here. VERY helpful man, and knows a lot about the country!

Okay the rooms aren't great. But we got it for $10 USD a night and it included breakfast. WOW the breakfast is sooo good. The rum is cheap and their bar is on the main street. This was my first time staying at a hostel. I didn't like it at first but after breakfast my mind was changed. I will certainly come here again!
