So many Mexican restaurants are just bland, serving food little better than we make in our own kitchens when in a hurry. The same is true here. Nothing about the menu or faire is unique, just more of the same that we find in Mexican restaurants everywhere in America. Can’t small places like this create some truly unique dishes that define who and what they are? Can’t they offer at least two or three creations that keep diners coming back, waking in the middle of the night dreaming about what they’ve eaten before? The food isn’t bad, it just isn’t special.
