Love this store so much. I drive 45 minutes from east bay just for their sushi lol. Everything else is wonderful. Just be prepared to spend some money because there’s a ton of wonderful options that will find their way into your basket. 😂

Really cute store, pretty expensive for a grocery store, but then again this is in Half Moon Bay! Very similar to Whole Foods if you're into that sort of thing!
The store offers a great variety of foods, deli, fresh produce, etc. - all good quality. I like the bakery department and juice bar. However, I lowered the rating because of their restrooms - they are dirty and disgusting. There was no soap either. After seeing the restroom I started to doubt the cleanliness of their whole store.
The quality of most products in this store is very impressive. Unfortunately, who in the world can afford to buy from them on the daily basis unless you have a temporary help from credit card companies. It is very expensive to shop here just like in Whole Foods Market. I would come here again only in case of emergency or no more than twice a month. Also, in this exciting and beautiful city, especially now, it should be opened 24 hours, but it is not. In addition, there are not any long lines in the cashiers' areas. The store is relatively empty. Safeway supermarket would be better choice, one person opinion. It has always something that is very healthy. Nevertheless, it is not cheap out there either, but cheaper than here. Because it is cheaper in Safeway, the lines to pay for your purchase could be a horror. However, i would rather stay in line extra time in Safeway than to pay huge for overpriced products here.

Huge array of food, fresh produce, sandwiches, salads, baked goods. Friendly staff. Large parking lot with 3 ♿️ parking spots up front. Small tables outside for eating.
The market is ok, products are fresh. Sandwich section … the worst ones I tasted so far. In the section where they have the hot sandwiches in aluminum foil. $9.99 for a completely soggy horrible tasting and even worse looking cranberry, turkey and brie sandwich. Someone must have had a bad night and got in the sandwich with his anger. The final step was to dunk the sandwich in a cheap cranberry paste 😳
When I heard about Big Tony Alcabbrea passing away, my first thought was to send flowers to the family, but I remembered how he ate lunch every day at the New Leaf Community Market and they had no idea about his affiliation with the mafia. I was impressed with him eating at the same place every day, so decided to go see what all the hoopla was. He always said it's the food but I think it's a skirt that caught his fancy. The sandwiches were delicious, 5 stars. ☆☆☆☆☆
What Whole Foods used to be when it was a wholesome store. This is a huge store to fulfill a foodie's whim and wish, although the baguette choices were disappointingly narrow. Allow more than a few minutes to explore this store! Fresh coffee and juice/smoothie bar, lots of individual-sized packaged health-oriented snacks and prepared foods. So far there are only 4 locations all in the northern area of California. Maybe an up and coming stock to invest in when it goes public on the exchange?

Really friendly staff & great selection of healthy, sustainable living focused foods, drinks & grocery. It would be great to see more vegan options (beyond meat burger only available 1 day per week at the deli). As usual there are a lot of plastic containers, it would be great to see alternatives such as fill up your own containers. There is a little of this, but washable plates, bowls & cups for eat-in would be less wasteful. Also would be great if more products sold in bulk (bring or buy reusable containers) to get away from overuse of single-use plastic packaging on fruits, chips, cookies, etc. Quality of products, health foods & supplements is top-quality featuring many local goods.

Today I ordered some fresh green beans in my InstaCart order at New Leaf. When I opened the bag of 3 lbs. of green beans, I noticed there were some brown ones. So, as I started to sort through them, I started to realize almost all of them had brown stains on the skin. After going through some I also realized they smell like rotting veggies. so, I through away over 3 lbs of green beans. InstaCart refunded the $13 of cost, but now I have to find fresh beans at another store. Good I have two days to get this done. Sad to think someone picked these beans and felt they were ok. The smell alone made me throw them away Very disappointed with New Leaf to even have these beans on the produce section for purchase.
