Best chicken noodle soup anywhere. The owners and employees are all so kind and friendly. We love it here.
This place has been my go-to place for quick and delicious soups for literally years. Their soups are always excellent, and I really wish they would open more places. I can NOT get enough of their roasted red pepper vinaigrette dressing, it is amazing, and I often tempted to drink it straight. When its on the roster you NEED to try the African Chicken & Peanut and the Gazpacho. The soups are delicious and for so many years they keep their level of good food. Butternut Barley & Kale Soup if you are vegetarian, or the chicken with maze ball for the rest. This is our family recommendation Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Leaving this review because my first instinct was to call and give a huge thanks for making our Jewish Holiday the best ever with their special menu, but figured they’d just ask me to leave a review anyway lol. (Still going to call later today though haha). We bring in dinner from Modern Rotisserie/New England Soup Factory for Shabbat dinner at least once a month, and it’s great every time. This year, we also ordered a veritable feast for Rosh Hashanah, and froze some of it to have for erev Yom Kippur. Best holiday food EVER! And the family that owns the place is so sweet and accommodating. (The employees are great too!) The prices are super reasonable, which is a rare find these days. This is one of our very favorite places in Newton, for sure! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Extra Matzo Ball

Love that they allow you to sample a soup before purchasing a bowl. Given that I sampled a few, I was not disappointed with any of the ones I tasted. In fact, I had a very hard time deciding which to choose. They are tasty, affordable and nice to have on a chilly fall day in Salem. Pairs well with one of their tasty little sandwiches on the side. Recommend stopping for a quick and cheap bite to eat. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes New England Soup

This place is incredible. I got a 12oz of the clam chowder and WHOA! I was blown away with flavor. Not to mention the bread that came with it tasted delightfully homemade. I also had the chicken salad sandwich with homemade pickles and was also equally impressed with the flavor. I definitely recommend stopping in for your chowder fix! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I ordered the chicken vegetable soup and the clam corn chowder. The chicken vegetable soup was decent, it was more on the sweet side rather than savory which wasn’t to my own personal liking. The clam corn chowder was very good - loved the combo of the corn with the clams and the potatoes. Would love to try the chicken pot pie next but it was unavailable when I wanted it to order it. Will keep my eye out for it next time! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Clam & Corn Chowder
Our favorite place to get soup. Usually at least one menu coded vegan/vegetarian option, often a few. The flavors are rich & bold, often too oily, sometimes too sweet or a bit too salty, but maybe that's what many people prefer. Absolutely love the spicy soups and cold summer soups (and I often dislike cold soups, but here they do them right). Some favorites are watermelon gazpacho, tomato-peach, butternut squash & chickpeas (super spicy with shredded coconut), and hearty winter soups. All soup is served with fresh rolls, white or multigrain. I have heard many customers inquire about gluten-free bread, but they do not have any. There are also sides like pasta salads, sandwiches, & giant dill pickles. Decent drink selection. And you can choose from the cooler of other quarts of soup ready to take home and heat up. New England Soup Factory is not open on Sundays anymore sadly... used to be our go-to stop for food to bring to the beach. Even closing a few weekdays instead would have been better for us! Ample seating inside because it is not used a lot. The parking lot can get packed. Soup prices are a bit steep, but you get a lot. I really wish there was a daily social media post with an accurate soup menu.
