Our nonprofit has hosted 3 events here. They helped us book Kim Keys and her band--absolutely amazing soul/funk music. The house chef knocked it out of the park with baked fish, fried chicken, and fully vegan sides: greens, green beans, sweet potatoes and salad. We did an Afrofuturism theme and the black tablecloths/chair covers and blue sashes were perfect. We had ~75 people and could have comfortably fit plenty more.

If I could give negative stars I would. This owner and venue is by far the worst. I've had multiple instances where he has been rude & inconsiderate. This is bad business and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.

This venue was booked a week ago, deposit paid. While speaking with Nathan Barnes, he told me another lady was trying to book the same day but she didn’t have money. I paid for venue for 4 HOURS for $450! The DAY BEFORE OUR EVENT, which is my Aunt’s Repast I was told we had to adjust OUR TIME for the next event. He wanted to give us 3 hours for $400 which would start while we’re still at the funeral!! I told them we needed venue from 1-5pm and they agreed!!!! These people are terrible. This building, which I had not seen inside of is old, outdated, DIRTY, smelled of Stale CIGARETTES, MOLDLY, and a significant water leak about 10 feet inside the front door. Nathan Barnes pushed this ‘mishap’ on his business partner and then he disappeared. *What venue is this much and then $150 MORE to use the kitchen? This place is TRASH.

77th Birthday Party for a very Special man "Nunnally" The party was great..... The property parking lot was clean the bathroom was stocked, cleaned and smelled so clean..... The owner was there and was very polite
