This was the perfect place to go on a chilly, rainy evening in Ponta Delgada. As soon as we stepped in the door, we felt a warm Irish welcome; the owner Kevin and his staff are super friendly. I loved the distressed wood tables and chairs, the huge wood-framed windows fronting the street, and the painted mural and Celtic art lining the walls. We had the fabulous Irish Stew (family recipe) and an excellent Philly Cheesesteak that was packed with flavor from generous layers of mushrooms and cheese. The fries were really standout - definitely the best I have on the island. An added bonus was that there is covered public parking right across the street. I am looking forward to going back to Ned Kelly’s for their lunch service, which will be added at the end of February!

Amazing place, brilliant burger and the finest of wings. Irish oldies and more recent tunes playing, the pints going down as smooth as possible. Great place, I will definitely return.
I even got to see the black cat going into some guy's lap 😁 what a cool vibe.

Chicken Wings
Witty and friendly bartender who knows the trade to a high level. Extremely fresh, juicy, no-nonsense local meat and bacon, asked for a double burger which they happily made with hand cut garlic fries. Pricing rivals most options on the island. Great ambience during the rugby and among the best pints of Guinness I’ve ever had.

If you fancy a pub experience where you can actually sit at the bar this is the place for you. Barkeep is great and doesn’t pull any punches. Your at a bar bring your sense of humor and relax it’s that easy. Good brews and the only true burger from what we can tell on the island. Enjoyed our time here and will be back when visiting!Cheers!
"They've got one in Honolulu, they've got one in Moscow too. They got four of them in Sydney and a couple in Kathmandu. So whether you sing or pull a pint you'll always have a job. 'Cause wherever you go around the world you'll find an Irish pub" 😉

An all around amazing, hidden gem of a pub in Ponta delgada. I’ll start with the food. The best burger and fries you can find on the island bar none. The Guinness stew is phenomenal. Also great prices considering the care and quality that go into each dish.
While the food and drink are world class, the real foundation and soul of this pub is the owner Kevin. A quick-witted, sharp tongued, hard working Irishman who is unapologetically himself. A breath of fresh air in a world where everyone’s afraid of speaking their mind. The kindest a-hole you’ll ever meet.
My cousin and I had a few unforgettable nights here in just a 1 week span. Do yourself a favor and stop in.
