Best Indian food in Varberg! The flavors and portion size were perfect. The naan bread was also really good. Nice old wooden interior with warm, deep red fabrics. Casual yet cozy. Highly recommended! Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I love Namaste! My husband and I eat there very regularly. They have good vegan options, and they actually listen when I tell them I want it really spicy. The prices are good for both food and drinks. The owners are very friendly and the service is fast and served with a smile! Highly recommend!!
Service 5*: Really nice and friendly staff. Quick and correct service. Food 3*: the menu has obviously been westernised/swedified. Even got pork version of traditional khurma (i know right). Ordered a lambdish, was alright. Good portion. Nothing special tho. Price 3*: abit pricey. Lambdish and coke at 220kr at a pretty average place. But i guess that because of Varbergs tourist status its reasonable.
Ordered lamm briyani, jhinga masala, garlic naan and chicken tandoori. Only garlic naan was good. None of the other dishes tasted good. Lamm briyani tasted as if it was rice mixed with some lamm curry and chicken tandoori was blant and hard.
A very inexpensive complete menu. A selfservice salad while waiting for the main dish, a whole meal with naan bread and rice, and a coffee/tea. Completely unexpected, really good in cuantity and quality. Everything was really tasty and original.
First time visiting Namaste India. I chose the Chicken tandoori which was one of the options on their dagens list today though their dagen doesn't include a soft drink but the price was quite reasonable for a soft drink. I enjoyed my meal which came with a large piece of naan bread and salad. Normally I've only had tandoori chicken with boneless chicken in other countries but today was my 4 or 5 time in Sweden where I've been served a leg or drum sticks.

The place is NOT wheelchair-friendly, and the overall look of it is that it's a brown football pub, not very indian at all. The bathroom is impossible to get in to with a wheelchair, and they use fragranced soap making it impossible to sit nearby the pathway to the bathroom, as the people will walk past you stinking of the toxic fragrance. The staff was however very friendly, and tried to accomodate to the best of their ability. The food was absolutely superb, so even though the portions were huge, there was not a single plate left with food on it. Absolutely worth a visit for the ablebodied. Wheelchair users might be better off ordering as take-away.

I love Indian because I am from London. Namaste has been improving their dishes, our last meal there was superb! Highly recommended and on par with London restaurants.
Daytime: Dirty. Bad atmosphere with loud drunks and gambling machines. Trinkets for sale at the front door and a dirty, smelly homeless man lying in the middle of the restaurant. Not as promised. Food was sub par and expensive to boot.
