I thought I’d buy fresh hopia from a bakery, so I went to this place instead of buying at Asian grocery nearby. But , I was so disappointed. Hopia taste stale and very dry though the label expires 12/14. Price per person $1–10
Very mediocre baked goods. The Hopia's are subpar. They are hard, and they fall apart after just one day.

Great place! Enjoy it every time! Coming from another Nutley store owner Myra's is a wonderful place!
Unfortunately limited selection and quality. $10 CC minimum. I won't be back. If you want asian baked goods, go on into the city.
Hot pandesal. Garlicky, tasty chicken empanadas with thin dough , unlike other empanadas that are mostly crust with little filling. Pork siopao.
Loved the bicho bicho, ube and pandan pandesal, steamed ube siopao, special steamed siopao not coming from china town! Way to go Myra’s bakery! Mango cake delicious! Good gift giving to other out of state relatives when you visit. Hmm can he send them as gifts out of state? You will make bloomfield proud!
They sell Bitso Pinoy local donut and its the best one because I got it when its fresh bake and reasonable price no need to go Jersey City and its just around me now . They always have fresh bake bread everyday
The guy in front was rude, I asked him if there was hot pandesal. He responded “no they don’t have any”. I ask how long is going to be available? He said 10 to 15 minutes. Came back after 20 minutes and I ordered 2 dozens of hot pandesal. Saw him in back shoving 2 dozens of pandesal in one brown bag using his hand and sometimes his sweater sleeves because they were hot, a couple of them fell on the floor. I saw him picked it up and hesitated on what to with it. I asked how come he doesn’t use tongs? His response was “it’s to hot” I said “exactly “ he also said that he was working on bread that’s why he doesn’t need to use gloves nor tongs. I would never go back to this place
Products are mediocre, but the service was truly bad. The girl who works there was not enthusiastic to work at all. There is no price show how much the bread cost, so I asked her and she would just reluctantly answered in an inaudible volume every time.
Myra's makes pork buns to DIE FOR. I never leave there with less then 20. I now live in PA and they can be frozen and then put in microwave for 60 seconds to taste like fresh baked right out of the oven. Dough is slightly sweet, light and fluffy, and meat is tender with that Chinese BBQ flavor. A perfect lunch meal, or appetizer with Chinese food. Either way, its a winner.
