First time here on our visit to the University of Illinois. Located right off the Quad on Green street. Nice bar inside with excellent food. Their Reuben sandwich was excellent along with great onion rings. Waffle fries were excellent, as well. They also have pool tables downstairs. Very enjoyable experience. Enjoy! The best bar in Champaign by far. They have fantastic food, great drink deals (Ex. free logo glass with purchase of a beer on Wednesdays), and spectacular service. The bartenders are quick, friendly, and creative. Every time I go I have an amazing experience. Pictured are the Irish nachos and electric lemonade

Nice atmosphere, old time pubey rustic. The burgers were B tier, on the dry end, coleslaw was too mayoey and not cut evenly. Onions were too oiley and a bit salty.

Great atmosphere - homey during the day and a good time at night for a beer with friends. Food is good and the irish nachos are always what my friends and I get to split with our pitchers. Friendly staff and great locations if you want to check out other things on Green St. before or after.

This place is a campus favorite. Relatively more frequented by grad students, this is where a lot of plans start. Thursday specials are wonderful and the food (burgers) not too bad (I once tried the Irish nachos and it was lit).

Great pub style burgers, fish and chips, and pretty authentic bangers and mash. Pretty much exactly the same as when I went back in 88 through 91!

Giving a 5 star review because the food is great. Also I'm leaving this review because of the people who were kicked out for being disruptive then left 1 star reviews. They had no class while in the restaurant and further demonstrated here in a review. You were being disruptive and were asked to leave. Move on. Murphy's is great.
