Smells amazing when walking in!! We heard about this place from the realtor who was helping us purchase some land in the area, and she treated us to our first meal. First time to come in and will be back! Friendly staff and clean. My hubby got himself a steak cooked perfectly to what he wanted. (Said it was way better than a Texas Roadhouse steak) I chose the grilled chicken (a little dry) good char flavor. The baked potato was delicious as well. Now the cheesecake wins it for me for being homemade and really flavorful, not super sweet. Just right. Good portion sizes so you'll leave full! Will be back! Already told my parents about this place. Definitely a hidden gem in Oklahoma you should try at least once. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stopped her passing through from Stillwater. This place was wonderful, we will definitely be making the commute to come eat here again. The buffet is on Sunday for lunch, it was small but still had everything you need. Home cooking country style. The fried catfish was like you get from fresh caught fried at Grandma's house. This place will put Yale, Oklahoma on the map if Jim Thorpe’s birthplace doesn’t bring you to Yale. We have dined here approximately 8 times. We’ve been there with groups from 4 to 16. This place is literally worth making a special trip to it from as far away as Tulsa. Rustic western roadhouse feel. Great meals and burgers. They have small homemade pies that you simply have to try out after any meal. The place is loud and high energy but we love coming here with family from early teens to their 80’s. We have not tried the Sunday buffet, but I’m sure it would be as good as any other day. The owner was an auctioneer and has assembled quite an eclectic collection of artifacts around the restaurant as well. Generally our average drive to eat here is 40 miles and we think it’s worth it. Look at the size of the Chicken Fried Steak! I eat these all over Oklahoma, I would say this is the finest Chicken Fried Steak I have ever eaten- anywhere. I took it home, heated it two days later to finish it, and it was not soggy. You have to try their Chicken Fried Steak. They are trying to be number 1 in Oklahoma. Awesome food! Pulled pork was 5 star for sure. Loved the BBQ sauce. Onion rings were great. Eat them while hot though. Spicy cowboy beans are fairly good but hard to eat whole bowl. Place is cool and comfortable and service was great. Sodas at $3.95 is just too much. It's a big jar but with ice that's reaching. I'll be back to try more cause my pulled pork was that good. They don't toast or do anything to the buns and that hurt the Brisket sandwich big time. It was sooo dry I had to bury it in BBQ sauce. They could bottle the smell of the place when you walk through the door, sell it, and get rich! It smells that good. Then you sit down and get this fresh bread, Would be happier if it was warm, but paired with that butter is great! The main food comes, and it was mouth-watering brisket, ribs and pulled pork. Onion rings as one of my sides, another enjoyment to eat. Finished of with a piece of the berry cheesecake, hell yes!!! Not would go back when going through town, will be stopping every chance I get!
