My daughter took my wife and I out for lunch to M&B. I must say that I was rather disappointed with the service and food that was served. I asked for my steak to be medium rare but came over cooked. I sent it back. My replacement steak was as ordered, but the taste was bland & that black sauce that was served was horrendous. It was money wasted and for R210 one would expect better. The chips & fried onions were as soggy & unappetizing as ever. My wife's order of ribs & wings combo for R185 was another disaster. It was stale. The wings were worse than the ribs. It just lacked the freshness of freshly cooked food. I personally think that we got srale food except for the steak (although bland as it was) which was fresh. Really disappointed to bring my elderly mom for a BIRTHDAY treat on her birthday, after being in hospital and I told the waitress it's her birthday, they did absolutely nothing BUT sang so beautifully for a birthday table further down. Way to make someone feel NOT special!! The scones are as big as the plate BUT a teaspoon of jam and a tiny block of butter to try wet the pallet...not any offer of more when we had to ask for a takeaway for the rest of the scones. I am pleased to say that the establishment took my comments onboard and the service is back to its usual attentive standard. The the low carb breakfast (also a gluten free option) that my wife had and the chilli jam burger made for a good meal. “Good service, clean environment and handy to the shops, but especially the car wash where the honest team do a superb job.” Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person R 250–300

I have never experience such a poor service like that. It felt so personal. We came in and seated ourselves at Mugg & Bean Brackenhurst and after 10 minutes a lady came to take orders and we ordered tea and she never came back. After 15 minutes I call another lady asked for a muffin and she also went away and was busy serving other customers which she told us after we complained that we are not her customers. 15 minutes after I asked for a muffin, I waved to another lady and she said I am coming and never came and 5 minutes later we decided to stand up and go and called a manager who looked not bothered and all he could say was please forgive us. I told Samuel that sorry not even relevant in this situation since it was clear that we were not welcomed. The shop was not even not that full to have experience such a terrible service. Service: 1

love brackenhurst branch, they always have the best service and waiters are so friendly and prompt with their service. my kids always have peanut butter milkshakes which is not on the menu, but brackenhurst branch will always see that we get what we want. you guys make a good team, keep up the good job!! Our waitress was Mpho she was very courtesy and friendly. The chips were very little 12 on the 🍽... My hubby had to buy an additional serving. My big daddy was not the usual size am used to from M and B in the Glen.

Ordered tomato soup and butternut soup. Tomato soup was superb as usual. But the butternut soup had a strange taste. We brought it to their attention. The manager was courteous and apologetic. It was pleasant and COVID-19 protocols were observed. Nice 👌 place for Breakfast Our waitress Mpho was attentive and we didn't feel crowded by her. A bit pricey but then again you pay for then experience
