If I could rate less than one star, I would. It was basically robbery ordering food to take away from MugnBean Salt Rock. I ordered a toasted sandwich with chips the bread tasted like it was a week old, my jaw still aches from attempting the chew the putrid sandwich. Hope that the chips would be the saving grace, quickly absolutely vanished after just a single bite - it was like taking a mouthful of oil. Worst mug n bean experience simply will no longer be a customer of this franchise. Service Take out Meal type Brunch Price per person R 100–150 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Had a great breakfast & Coffee here. Breakfasts are generally priced well. The service we received here is also on point with our waiter being really friendly. Food portions are good for what you pay, that’s always important for me. The music they play is great, it’s also not to loud that you cannot have a conversation, this is helpful. Thumbs up!
Small and intimate with very friendly staff. They serve big portions so you get your money’s worth. However, food options are more restricted than other M&B branches, but overall, a great and peaceful place to get some work done.
Lovely place to sit and work, waiters are friendly but some of them need to pay more attention to customers when placing orders. Food was absolutely delicious 😋 Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person R 350–400

I found the service to be poor. Drinks and food ook forever to be served Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person R 350–400 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Nice small restaurant with not many tables so could get busy. Was not when I was there. Good coffee and toasted sandwich. Inside and outside seating. Didn't test the WiFi. Can be noisy so online meetings may be a challenge Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Price per person R 100–150 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Not Pet-Friendly Being on holiday with our pet, it's important to find a pet-friendly establishment. Most places on the North Coast are pet-friendly although some might require that you sit outside, which I actually prefer. Not so with this branch. They chased us away pet and all. We tried to explain that it's a small dog, she will be in her pram and we will be sitting outside! To top it off, we would be the only customers sitting outside. But nothing could get them to budge. Shame on you Mugg & Bean! But not to worry. Yami Rib & Burger in the same complex was happy to accommodate us and I was happy to give them my money. Oh and so was Taso's and The Galley in Ballito. So yes, show us pet owners the door and we will spend our money elsewhere.

Have only been there once. Had the low carb breakfast which wasn't quite as the photo showed it to be. Took forever to receive my meal by uninterested staff and was never spoken to again. No management present.
Waitress were kind and willing to take a few photos for us. Her colleague got our orders wrong, but its minor. Was an ultimately pleasant breakfast.
