Our experience was great the birria tacos are delicious the tortilla is nice and crispy but soft at the same time, the meat has a good flavor and everything tastes incredibly fresh! They give complimentary chips and salsa which was also so good! My husband is not a salsa fan and he asked for a second one that says a lot! Lastly the drinks were great too and the staff is so warm and friendly, I’ve already visited twice and I have been happy both times. I can’t wait to go back! One of my family and I favorite place to eat Mexican! The staff is so kind and friendly. The food is always chefs kiss. I personally love the Birria tacos (they're juicy and so so good), the street tacos and the burrito bowls. I can't wait to try more on the menu. Even the salsa is so good! I wish they sold it along with their spicy one-I would buy it by the bottle. The atmosphere is so well decorated and welcoming. Best Mexican *authentic* around the area hands down. Everything on this menu is delicious, and they give you four tacos in an order which is perfect. Agua de jamaica is great here as well. For people in connecticut who have been looking for mexican that is good- this place is great. It was a good reason to visit downtown Meriden. It was nice to see a busy restaurant on a Sunday at 2:30pm full of well dressed families enjoying themselves. Our food took 10minutes to make despite being so busy. I wish the burrito was bigger but everything tasted good.
