Always a wonderful time with Amanda! Such a wonderful atmosphere and the food is amazing to eat and the check isn't breaking the bank!! Give them a shot and you won't regret it!! Not from Walla Walla, but drove from south of Joliet! We camp in Amboy and for years have see the Mr C’s TV commercials. Today we decided to make the journey to Rockford. Well worth the time and the fuel. Great Patty Melt, onion rings and No Bread Fred!! Service was terrific. Outstanding coffee! Zero disappointments. Rumor has it we need to try the fried chicken … we will be back!! We were excited to try their Thanksgiving dinner. Institutional at best. Over priced at the worst. The turkey was processed, and had an odd flavor. The pumpkin pie was delicious, and my request for extra whipped cream was honored with enthusiasm. Great service. We normally go there for breakfast, and are never disappointed!
