We had a lovely time at Mozambik in Century City, grabbing a few cocktails with the barman Robert. He gave us superb service with great tasting cocktails. I especially enjoyed the Cosmos. Thank you Moz and Robert.🔥🔥🔥👌🏽 Meal type Other Price per person R 100–150 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Absolutely enjoy eating here, their Peri-Peri Hot 🔥 is really Hot! The chicken was cooked well, fries were perfect, the calamari was delicious. The coconut rice was an experience, but not something I'd try again the fries are a winner. The complimentary peanuts on arrival is a very nice touch, we really enjoyed it. Service and food was good, no regrets. We were so hungry, I forgot to take pics of the food 😂 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person R 200–250 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Half Chicken with Veg
Had dinner at Mozambik last night. Restaurant is quite big and was relatively quiet. For starters had the giblets and rissoles. Both were delicious. The mains, calamari and rump espatada were also great. My steak was perfectly cooked. Service was good. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
I enjoyed the prawns. I chose the mild hot prawns with chips and rice. To be honest the chips was disappointing as it was dry and hard. My husband had a burger and milkshake. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I went there with a friend for lunch. This Mozambik was situated inside a hotel. It was not big but the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. I ordered the Wednesday prawn special (8 prawns+a side) and my friend got the half chicken in peri-peri flavour with roasted veg. Both dishes had amazing flavour and the chicken was well-cooked and tender. The peri peri sauce had a nice kick to it 🌶️ The prawns weren't very fresh. As the picture shows, some of the heads were really dark. They were hard to remove from the shell and the meat were not so firm. The coconut rice was delicious with the lemon butter sauce though, I wish the rice had a bigger portion 😋 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person R 300–350 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Amazing service, the waiters and waitresses are simply the best. Thank you Mozambik for a fantastic experience, special thank you to Hermein and the staff for giving me an unforgettable experience. You changed my initial feeling. I loved the food, the ambience and the great service. I am hopeful this high standards will continue. Looking forward to my next lunch/dinner at Mozambik. Food is so fresh and made with love.

The staff, service and food were all spectacular. I love the care that was given to us and our table. Would recommend you get the chicken and calamari combo, peri peri for those brave souls and the lemon and herb for the rest. The coconut rice was a winner!! 🥇 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Restaurant was empty except for myself. I didn't order any drinks, and water was not offered. Food arrived cold. Rice was cold and Mashed Potato Also. Chicken and shrimp was barely warm. Disappointed because ive been to the Mozambique Restaurant in Umshlanga Rocks And service and food arrival with just the right temperature was great, therefore I came to this restaurant located at the Collesium Hotel at Century City, Cape Town and sad to say Very disappointed. We were traveling and I decided on the restaurant and hugely disappointed- especially to my friends as I experienced better service in Umshlanga Rocks. So unfortunately this location will not be reconsidered as I travel with friends in Cape Town. This restaurant wasn't busy, and I fail to understand their lack of interest to the customers. What a lovely experience at this new chic restaurant located at the front of the Colloseum Hotel. Food and cocktails was outstanding, decor had a great beach tropical look. We ordered fried squid heads and the spicy giblets as starters and their September Prawn special. Do I tell you, that it was extremely devine! Better than the most popular seafood restaurants we normally go to, their lemon garlic butter sauce was literally soaked up by the prawns with a choice of chips, coconut rice, mash, chickpeas or even salad. The reasoning behind the lost one star, was because the atmosphere felt a bit blank? Music was not apparent to set the mood, so it felt a bit too quiet, but perhaps it is based at the hotels front entrance, atmosphere needs to be reserved? But anyhow, overall it was a pleasant experience.
