It was a Sunday when we passed through Pinedale, and we were thrilled to see a coffee hut open. Yay! And better yet, good coffee! I didn't take a picture, but my mocha was fabulous with oat milk, and my husband got a Raspberry Green tea Frappuccino. Definitely a great place with a sweet and courteous young lady willing to be out on a Sunday morning. Thank you! Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5

Update 1/8/24. Ordered an almond milk latte. Taste weird. Maybe it’s the brand milk. Maybe it’s the coffee. I guess after a year since I’ve reviewed I still think they make the worst in Pinedale. No one was open this early which is the only reason I stopped. Today is Sep 4 2022, Sunday. Did they change the supplier for the Mexican chocolate powder? It tastes different. Very weak on flavor. If they use that powder from now on, I’ll not order the mountain mocha again. BTW, I’m not talking about the espresso. Just the chocolate. Service is good.

While I definitely love the atmosphere of the other coffee options in town, imho this is a yummier coffee experience. Their signature Mountain Mocha is a delicious blend of chocolate, nutmeg, and cinnamon. The cappuccino, a favorite of my husband’s, is often perfect…it’s not often you get a true dry cappuccino…however, it can really depend on who is working the booth. I haven’t had their breakfasts in a while, so I can’t speak to that. But the Wrangler is practically across the street, and you can get a hearty meal there. Ordered 2 burritos (1030am 7/25/21). Waited 20 mins. The server was nice and offered us dog treats (for our dogs). Then came the burritos - "sorry for the long wait - we had to thaw it and they are really hot". We hit the road, and opened both of our burritos from foil, and found hard, chewy semi-translucent flour tortillas that were super hot, yet the middles were cold. Once you got 2 inches into partially hot burrito, you were chewing (middle of) the ingredients that were literal permafrost - ice cold and ice-crunchy. Burritos were sadly microwaved which made the tortillas super chewy and hard to eat. We were hoping for something amazingly fresh and handmade quality - but was served half-frozen, half-thawed 'El Monterey' style burritos you can find in any frozen section of a grocery store. Why didn't we turn around and return them? Because we had an 8hr trip and didn't want to waste another 20+ minutes of an already long trip. I'm not sure if I will ever try this place again - we are locals. Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10

Heavy cream available! The espresso was smooth and flavorful, so the latte ("imperial breve") was outstanding. (no need for sugar or flavor syrup when high milkfat is in play) The girl who made my drink was efficient and friendly. A great experience. Very good coffee! I also got some tasty muffins. The service was great, the girl running the shop was a good conversationalist and lovely to talk to while she was making my dry cappuccino.
Sad to post this review but I am a regular customer and the way I was treated several days ago by the owner was unacceptable. I have been getting coffee here since we moved here and all the girls that work there are beyond nice! Unfortunately, when I came by the other day the owner was working and I asked for my caramel macchiato to be made at a lower temp (never an issue for the girls that work there) and she rolled her eyes at me and slammed the window shut and a girl that worked there ended up finishing my order and taking payment. To add insult to injury, the “caramel macchiato” was so bad I had to buy creamer from Ridley’s to put in it. I could have dealt with the macchiato being not up to par if she had been nice to me. Just a bad experience all around and now I have a bad taste in my mouth for this place.

Sweet girl working there, but they were out of ice and out of dark chocolate to make a mocha. Really? Somebody go get the girl some dark chocolate and some ice. This is a drive-through only. We just drove away so I have no idea how their coffee tastes.

Got a iced mountain man mocha. Lady barista mentioned it is like a Mexican mocha. It tasted great. Have had these before. She made the espresso smooth and just enough that special chocolate with a hint of spice and heat. Thank you. Will stop here again on my way through this special town.
