Super yummy food. Was hesitant to dine here due to the photos showing the dining room being a bit dated but no regrets! All of the dishes we tried were good especially the fried mushrooms. Better than the popular one nearby.

RM99 for 4 small dishes and three drinks.
They excel in the deep fried dishes.
The following dishes are rated from most delicious to the least appetizing:
Butter mushroom - deep fried fl perfection oyster mushrooms coated in a thin sweet savoury sauce. How's😘
Kundasang vegetable (pucuk paku) 😘 - quite salty but well fried. Lots of wok hei.
Dry butter chicken - sinfully delicious.
Sweet and sour fish - the most lackluster dish of the night. Fish was meaty and dry. Not silky smooth.

Dishes served were delicious. Superb fried rice. Their butter mushroom sets the standard. Dry Chilli chix was a bit sweet but everything else was cleaned up. Parked next to main road, step down the steep stairs to the restaurant. Better yet, look out for entry to the lower parking area next to the restaurant. The place wasn’t inviting but it was strongly recommended by a local for quality. Unlike its rough exteriors, it was clean and neat inside. Service was polite and prompt. Paid cash. Prices on menu are nett. The place did it for an evening dinner before the climb.

Food was fantastic. Had the butter mushroom as recommended and it was so good. The creamy fish maw soup was heartwarming on a chilly night.
The night view was great too!

We found this place by accident after someone claimed that there was only one Chinese restaurant in kundasang. That is totally untrue...
This place is located in the same building as fairy garden resort. It's actually downstairs. Looks isolated. It has a typical chinese restaurant look and a hall for customers to have thier wedding banquet.
I am so impressed by the quality of food here. Price is reasonable for the portion and quality that u are paying for. I came here three days in a row for my lunch and dinner 🍽️..
Must try thier sweet and sour fish, ginger onion fish, fish maw soup, claypot seafood. Seafood is very fresh despite being in kundasang area.
We had dinner on 2/9/23 with a small group of travellers. The food and service is reasonably good. However when it comes to payment, we noted two items that mention "special drinks" at RMB 35 each. On further enquiry we were told they were the 2 bottles (660mls each)of Tiger Beer that amounts to RMB 70. Finding the charge of the beer to be absurd, we sought clarification from the boss himself. The boss's answer was that the waiting staff had informed us of the cost at the time of the order. We were all puzzled at his reply ( would we have ordered it at this exorbitant price, knowingly). In order not to make a scene and not wanting the staff to be blamed, we paid the bill and left with a bad taste.
