About
Moscow on the Hill is a must-visit restaurant in St. Paul, Minnesota. The atmosphere is cozy and kitschy with nice privacy curtains between tables and an accordion player who comes to your table. In the summer, there's a great patio to sit on. The food is delicious and there are plenty of options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. Their house-made flavored vodkas are not to be missed. You can choose from a variety of flights or pick one of the specialties like White Knight (white Russian) or the champagne vodka with the cherry in it. The Siberian Pelmeni dumplings filled with pork and beef, served with sour cream and vinegar, are a must-try. The Czar's Medallions, with pork chunks covered in a sour cream sauce and lots of cheese, are also excellent. The Borscht is a classic Russian beet, cabbage, and potato soup garnished with sour cream and fresh dill. The Moscow Fries are a basket of fried dill potatoes with dipping sauces. The service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. A truly unique dining experience in Saint Paul.

Food was great! A lot of comfort foods and they were delicious. Service was very fast and informative. If you have questions, just ask, even if it is for pronunciation. Atmosphere is what you would expect with "Moscow" being in the name. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Russian food restaurant and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The cozy atmosphere instantly made me feel at home, and the Russian culture-related decorations added a charming touch to the overall ambiance. The restaurant offers a great selection of drinks, including some traditional Russian beverages that were absolutely delicious. As for the food, the menu showcases a wide variety of dishes from Russian cuisine, each bursting with authentic flavors and made with utmost care. Whether you're a fan of classics like borscht and pelmeni or looking to explore new flavors, this restaurant has something for everyone. I highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the mood for a truly authentic Russian dining experience. Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Cabbage Rolls
