Brunchtime in Kalmar walking the old streets we decided to see what places were recommended by othet guides and stumbled into this lovely café. Mormors means Grandma's and their Cardemom buns were definitely bringing back memories of old. Sweet and juicy slightly caramelly with a nice clean Cardemom taste. They've the best kardemummabullar in Kalmar. They were our favourite as long as we lived in Kalmar. We ordered a dozen of them for our friends so they could have them for breakfast and fika. Everyone loved them. On Friday's, they've vaniljbullar too. Recommended to try their sour dough baguette, too. The lady was always friendly and recommended the best things for your needs. The Mormors Brödbod last week was a great experience, with a tasty sandwich, amazing sweets, and excellent coffee. Johanna was extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend you try it out if you are in Kalmar.
